I purchased these for the under cabinets in our kitchen. I was looking for something that didn't take up one of my plugs. The magnetic dots that attach to the lights are really ideal. It allows you to place the lights easily and give you a bit of adjustment space. The remote is nice but, doesn't throw the signal to all of the lights. Not a major issue. The frustrating part is each light takes 4 AAA batteries and they wear out quickly (even with limited use). They are not bright enough for a workspace but work great as night lights. So, meh...I'll move them somewhere else and look for other under cabinet work lights.

The coolest thing about these lights is ... they remember the LAST lighting setup you used for a bar - so - they give you 4 lights & two remotes. I'm using these to back light a couple of models I've sculpted a couple of years ago & I'm impressed. The Light/Brighter pic's I've attached show you the dif between 50% & 100% - keep in mind & this is yet ANOTHER cool feature - you can set these lights for either warm white - or cold white. The also come with magnetics integrated into the top of the units for simplified installation - should mention - they come with these little sticky tape round blanks which I can see working in light situations (no pun intended) - however - I'd recommend for looking for stronger adhesive backed mounting plates - or better yet - here on Amazon - you can get 3M mag strips which are pre-taped with serious two way tape & they hold just fine ...

Bought this as I had no working bathroom light (waiting for it to be fixed), as it was a temporary solution I have not used sticky strips so cannot comment on their effectiveness at this time. The led lights are very bright, it seems well made. It is easy to use with press on and press off. Very happy with my purchase and would 100% recommend

I was looking for some lighting for a display cabinet, but I didn't want to drill a hole in the back for a cord. I had previously purchased two battery operated light bars and installed them with 3M Command strips, but they kept falling off. I searched Amazon and found these, and they are perfect. They are small and light, and they attach to surfaces with two self adhesive metal discs. The lights have magnets on the back that adhere to the discs. This makes it easy to remove them to change batteries. They have three levels of light, the first click is yellow light, like from an incandescent bulb, the second is a more fluorescent look, and the third click brings on a cool bluish tinted light. This makes these lights great for various applications. They were a good value and I am glad I found them.

My kitchen sinks sit underneath shelving and against a wall with no window so it is dark. I had been looking for a light that would provide proper lighting and had to be battery operated. This is a perfect solution. It was an easy installation. The light is brilliant and I can turn it on and off with my elbow if needed. It does not have motion detection which is fine. True value for the cost as well as very convenient to use.

I love these lights & have put them under kitchen cabinets, in closets & in shelving to highlight collectibles. Pros: They are easy to install & use and I love that you can adjust the intensity of light. The adhesive works very well if you apply firm pressure for 10 - 20 seconds after installing. Cons: Each light requires 3 AA batteries and they use up battery power very quickly so not economical for use as a nightlight. I wanted to leave the undercabinet ones in my kitchen on in the evenings set at 50% intensity so that I could find things without turning on my bright ceiling lights, but after 1 week of leaving them on 4 - 5 hrs per day they used up almost all the battery power. Now I just do that with 2 of the 5 lights, accepting that I will have to change the batteries in those every 1 - 2 weeks. And they adhere so well that I have to say they are permanently installed. I tried removing one to move to a different location and it wouldn't budge.

Love these lights. I have an area that needed light but had no way of putting electricity to the area. These lights worked perfectly for that spot. They have brightness adjustment and the are flat and you hardly notice them. Having a remote is helpful to. Installed in minutes. Also quick shipping.

I've been alive upon this earth for decades and when I was a kid we used batteries for EVERYTHING, including the old, old-school, flat, rectangular shaped tape recorder you see a reporter use in an old movie. As kids, we took it everywhere, playing music when we played outside. NEVER did we cycle through sooooo many batteries, even way, way back in the 1970's!If you like WASTING MONEY then buy these under cabinet lights! Did I just have a bad unit?? NO. I bought FIVE OF THESE!! Every single one of them did the EXACT same thing! It took a day for the light to begin to dim so I changed the batteries ($$). I had bought a big pkg of Amazon batteries, which I have been buying for years, so it's not the battery. But then I thought to buy high-end, Energizer batteries ($$$). NOPE. All the lights did the exact same thing. By the end of a SINGLE WEEK, I had gone through 30 BATTERIES!!! Remember, five units x three batteries each, needed to change the batteries twice!!So THEN, I thought I should get rechargeable batteries ($$$$) because, well, I already installed these under my cabinets and I want them to work for me - I need the lighting! So I put in the rechargeable batteries and knew I'd need to recharge them but it is like a CHORE. Like having to feed another mouth, like adopting a pet. You have to charge the batteries EVERY DAY. Why? Because the light begins to dim THE MOMENT it even STARTS to drain!! By the time it's drained a little more, the light is so dim, you're squinting to see the area that was so NICE AND BRIGHT when you first put the batteries in.Not only are the batteries a problem but as you slide the unit back into place, on the plate installed under your cabinet, each time you press in on, it slides off a little bit, then a little more...a little more... a little more... then that one time you press it on, it comes crashing down onto the counter top. These are in my laundry room where I have a lot of cabinets. The one that fell, IT went behind my washing machine. So I had to pull out this giant appliance to fish the light out from behind there. So no, they don't lock into place, they just hang there. You have to make sure, every time you put the light on, that it didn't sneak it's way out of place and will end up on the floor.I have to give one star to write the review so I give the star to the fact that when the unit fell off and came crashing down behind my washing machine, it didn't break! Yay! Sturdy piece of junk! Yay! Too bad the internal functions aren't as well made.Need a new pet to take care of??? To pour your money into?? Something that TAKES from you FAR MORE than it HELPS you??? That's what the experience will be like with these lights - take, take take; constant attention, feeding and making sure they don't get hurt.Ridiculous.
