During installation (simply applying the sticky tape to a flat surface the product stopped working halfway through the installation. I checked the connections and it appears the internal wiring in the tape is prone to breakage, which interrupts current flow through the individual sections of LED tape. The section essentially was immediately unusable and this product would not stand up to any sort of long term use (e.g., if you have to move a shelf or desk around at all). I do not recommend this poor quality item.

First the good. The lights are bright, and they were easy to attach. purchased a new bookshelf and put these in the back to illuminate the shelves. They even look nice. The remote works as expected and if that was all I wanted from the product I would give it 5 starts...but!The bad. The lights will not connect to either of the apps the product provides. (Yuya Smart or Smart Life.) The app finds the device and my network and starts to connect stating "Device being added" but after a few moments it reports, "Failed to add the device." I was able to add two other devices to the Smart Life app without issue today, so it's not the app, my network, or my password as the instructions try to indicate. I have tried both apps multiple times, rebooting my phone, unplugging the device, and moving my phone to different areas of the room. bottom line, something just isn't right with the device. As it is already attached to the bookshelf, it's not like I am going to rip the lights off at this point. For my next two bookshelves, I'll go with a different brand. This is very unfortunate, if it were;t for this issue, I would love these lights.

What I love most about thieves is the extenders. I was having difficulty using other types of light strips because they did not have these extenders, and I couldn't go to the next shelf without putting light before between them. This worked well to go to the next shelf. Very easy to connect and the tape seems good so far. There is clips included which was nice to hold the extender to the wall or shelf. These add a very nice feel to the room and the remote is great. I cannot figure out the app but I won't be adding music to the lights anyhow. The remote chances the color and brightness.

Bought these for my son for Christmas, when we opened the box I was a little let down because they look cheap but they are not. They are by far way better than I ever expected them to be. I only gave 4 stars because we can't get the app on Android. Other than that, they work amazing. They're bright, the remote works with them perfectly, you can brighten & dim the lights aswell as have them pulse, fade or switch between colors smoothly. 9.5/10.Will update if anything happens!

Cuando llegaron yo creí que no eran los 20 mts, la caja es muy pequeña, no son contra el agua, no tienen silicon protector, pero la verdad cumple las espectativas para una linda decoración, realmente alumbran muy bonito, su control es elegante y la luz es de buena calidad
