I tried a few different under cabinet lights and these were by far the best.- they include a two-way switch that lets you choose low or normal brightness.- they have a good amount of space for wiring. I live in an older home and have some fun wiring setups behind the cabinets, including some heavy gauge romex coming from the microwave. I was able to pigtail everything and fit it all in the space provided (which was not the case with other brands).- Easy to install- The color temperature is easy on the eyes and compliments the room nicely- Overall, these are the best quality and design that I found on here.

Before purchasing, I looked at the video and looked at the measurements. I wanted it to go up underneath my kitchen cabinets. Easy to install. What I was wanting it for is exactly what I’m getting from these lights. I love the light that it gives off.

I ordered the Getinlight 18 inch LED light for under my kitchen cabinet because my halogen light had burnt out. When the package arrived, I was surprised how quickly I could install the light. When I turned on the light, I was pleasantly surprised how bright the light was. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I installed 3 of these. There were 2 problems with the installation. The lights, themselves, are excellent with 1 caveat I will mention after the installation concerns.1. These fixtures are wired for Romex. Except for the strain relief, the box is plastic. The fixtures I replaced were metal and grounded to armored cable. I had to attach the green ground wire to the Strain Relief which was attached to the cable.2. Since it is installed upside down, I managed to lose 1 of the screws (2 per fixture) even though I was using a magnetic screwdriver. The screws are very specific. The head must fit down a tube and the length must be long enough to hold the fixture, but not so long that they pierce the bottom of the cabinet. The provide plugs for the top off the tube. When I lost one, I had to resort to using a longer screw with a larger head. My replacement tightens to the top of the tube. The screw goes down the tube and has to be exactly long enough for the depth of the cabinet. They designed the screw tube to be covered with a matching plug. Mine is visible. Not exactly the end of the world, but annoying. I have requested a replacement screw and will raise the review to 5 stars when it arrives. These lights very successfully replaced 3 Xenon fixtures that each held 2 50-Watt bulbs. The Xenon bulbs were hot and used a total of 300 Watts. These fixtures use 3 watts each and run cool. They run on120 VAC. That means they can use any dimmer that works with LED bulbs. It also means that when they inevitably burn out, the whole fixture must be replaced since the lighting part is sealed and there is a warning about opening that compartment. But based on my previous experience with LED bulbs, they should last 10+ years. The give a 3 year warrantee. Usually LED bulbs burn out quickly or they last for a very long time. I still do not like that in the event of a failure, you need to replace the whole fixture. It will be difficult to find a matching fixture and the installation is a bit of a pain. But I think I am set for at least 10 years. Who knows what they will have by then or if I will still be here?

I would have given this product a 5-star rating, because it is attractive, sturdy, well-made, very attractive and very bright with a nice daylight type of light. And the wiring and internal electrical fixture is very nice and good quality.BUT........the instruction which come with the product are HORRIBLE.Basic things are not explained, like:- how to take off the cover plate are not described properly (it is hinged on one side only, so if you try to pry it off on the wrong side, you will damage it),- the steps for wiring are not in chronologic order, and essentially you need a basic understanding of electrical connections to get the job done- the screws to attach the fixture to the ceiling do not go all the way through the hole and are very stiff and difficult to screw in, making attachment while holding it impossible. So you have to screw them in first without attaching it to "loosen up" the hole and prepare the attachment and THEN you can screw it into the cabinet or ceiling relatively easily. All of these things sound minor, but if the instructions were clear and correct, it would take under 30 minutes and with no frustration. That having been said, I am by far no electrician and I was able to install it in under an hour, but with a lot of "trial and error" for each step, which really should not have been necessary. So my recommendation is if you want a really nice-looking and very bright light for your kitchen, this is the one. But be prepared for some installation frustrations.

I purchased this under cabinet light as a replacement when an old fluorescent one in our kitchen finally died, presenting the opportunity to upgrade to LED and a slightly wider unit for better light distribution above our countertop. This light installed easily, with plenty of room inside for the wiring. The rocker switch for on/off is position on the back right side of the unit, and has a solid reassuring feel to it. However, I installed the light with a dimmer switch on the wall, so we use that for on/off. This light works well with the dimmer, with no flickering. It produces a nice light that is just the right amount of warmth for our taste, without being yellow. The light fixture itself has a relatively slim profile, and stays well-concealed under the cabinet even when viewed from a distance.

This looks like a quality product. All the hardware required to perform the installation is there (even a cable strain relief thing). The only problem I had during installation is that the holes that are supposed to house the fixing screws where a little too small. I had to drill them to make them a tad bigger. Once installed, the light is really nice and even. Also, I recommend to watch the installation video by using the provided QR code.

The 3 color one is $4 more, but worth it. Not only can you change the color temperature with a slide switch between 3000K, 4000K, & 5000K, but the on-off switch can go to either full brightness or about half brightness (with no need for an external dimmer). The fixed color temperature models have only an on/off. No half brightness. See attached photo showing bothThe half brightness was about the same amount of light as our florescent fixtures that these replaced. The full brightness was much brighter, and maybe too bright. We plan to keep them on half brightness normally, and maybe switch one to full brightness if we need extra light for prep, etc. I installed 5 of these in our kitchen. The knockouts for the wiring are very small in diameter, but as it turns out they are exactly the same as the florescent fixtures that I replaced. There just isn't room for a full size hole. There is plenty of space for the wiring inside the unit. The cable clamp that comes with it is designed for a BX cable. The sheath of Romex will not fit through the hole. The sheath must end at the cable clamp. Most of my fixtures had two Romex wires as they were daisy chained. Both cables had their sheath end at the cable clamp, with the 6 wires going through the small hole. That fits, and it is how it was already done for the existing florescent lights. I just used the existing cable clamps, which are the same type as supplied.Installation took maybe 15-20 minutes per.So far they work great.I have not installed a wall dimmer. With the ability to go half brightness on the 3 color models I probably won't need to. Glad I bought the 3 color models.

The light was easy to install. Two pilot holes in the cabinet made the screws grab right away as they aren't the sharpest and my cabinets are hardwood. The screws thread into the plastic holes which can make the screws tighten before the housing is flush. I slightly enlarged the holes so the screws free spun in the housing. It tightened up flush very nicely. Wiring was easy. I chose to feed the wires through the back access plate and hook them up after mounting which worked well. I did have to strip some outer shielding off the feed wire as the hole in the panel is quite small. I added a star washer to the nut which doesn't tighten that well without one. The light is good quality and illuminates our sink area very nicely. Overall it is a nice simple light and it looks good. This is a great replacement for a flickering or buzzing fluorescent light.
