This Espresso machine is an expensive paper weight. It requires some sort of maintenance every ten days or so. If the drip tray is full it will not produce coffee. If the filter basket is dirty it needs to be purged using the provided baking soda pellets to clear it. Usually once a week to ten days. Then it will arbitrarily decide to put itself into spewing excessive water through the filter producing a really horrible bitter weak mess in about 3 seconds which is rather aggravating. The machine is four and half months old. It has become the Bain of our existence. If you want issues with your morning brew please consider the purchase of this piece of work. Talk about a finicky high maintenance piece of work, this is the biage of coffee machines. Love the fact that when you see it, will it work today, or will it be a half hour to 45 minutes of frustration before you can enjoy a bitter watery cup of coffee that look like the grounds were used twice to three times already and with only a ring of what you might consider crema floating around the edge of your cup umm yummy. Piece of work. I left it to her to fight with. I dug out my Moka pot. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP. IF YOU ARE ONE WHO LOVES HIGH MAINTENANCE ISSUES IN YOUR LIFE THEN THIS IS THE MACHINE FOR YOU. WILL IT WORK TODAY…? Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the manufacture recommends that you unplug the machine when ever it is not in immediate use. So say you do an extraction and walk away to use the restroom or step outside. Unplug the machine. Even though you will probably be using it again in 7-12 minutes later. Unplug the machine. Then plug it in again when you come back in the kitchen. Don’t forget to unplug it when you are done. Repeat as needed. How convenient and user friendly, hey

There are quite a few reasons why I love this product. The sleek stainless steel finish gives it a premium feel, but that's just the start. Oh boy, the quick heating? We have tried many expensive options, but this is the best.We have been using this coffee machine for a year now and every day we notice that our cappuccino is excellent. It is even better than in Starbucks, and I always thought that their standards are unbeatable.Plus - the machine is very compact and has a mirror surface - it does not clutter the countertop, it is not much bigger than an electric kettle.

This espresso machine is perfect for new baristas. It's easy to use, compact, and produces a good crema. The milk frother and quick heating are great features, and it operates quietly. The machine was good while it was working. Now it refuses to activate the group head. Pressing any button or running any cycle will just use the steam wand to run water. It was good while it lasted. 600 bucks for 8 months, like 75 bucks a month. Contacted Breville support they gave me non working solution. Hope the warranty works and they fix it, but I have to go get another machine in the mean time. Probably will get a cheap copy one if this thing lasts only several months.
