I can heat water in a small pan or the microwave faster and hotter. Not sure in what situations this thing is needed. I sent it back after making just a few cups of hot water, that took way too long to make and were not very hot.

I reached out to company for replacement part that came broken. I thought it'd be better than returning whole item for one small part. I did not get any response. Yes it does heat water enough for quick cup of tea or por over coffee. The price is too high in my opinion, especially to have a part be fragile.

Meet expectation. Water hot enough for coffee, tea. If it will automatically stop at certain oz. It's perfect. Just ensure don't walk away when using it. It will overflow. But other than that, it's good unit.

. The water doesn't get hot enough even on max setting. I have had instant hot water dispensers before and this brentwood doesn't come close to it. I am still observing but thinking of returning. Or maybe I have a defective product.

How have I ever lived without it?! Love this thing. I’m using it every day. Even my kids switched from juice and soda to tea! Just wish it had an automatic off switch when the cup is full

You can dispense hot water quickly with this appliance. I find the place to refill the water reservoir a bit awkward to use.
