I made the mistake of buying this twice, and both times it lasted less than a year. The spigot head is held together by a small metal ring that eventually breaks, and suddenly your yard is gushing water without you noticing.

The main connector to hook up to water line just uses a light c ring to hold it together. It's easy to over tighten even by hand and the whole assembly comes flying apart. That said, I'd you don't over tighten, it does not leak at all. But if it were to get bumped, it may easily break apart. Not in a way you can't reassemble, but if you aren't there to see it happen, you could have a mess if the water is left on...Outside of this one design flaw, the unit is high quality, does not leak, and the valve action feels really nice opening and closing.

We have gone through several other company's hose splitters. However, this is quality and will outlast us, I think. I like the bigger on/off switches as well, making it a little easier to turn on and off the different splitters. Keep in mind if you need a three-way splitter get a four-way not to outgrow the product. Also get different color hoses, so you can remember which one goes where.

I thought this was going to be a reasonable purchase based on other reviews. However, when I tightened the female fitting onto the hose bib for the first time, the fitting came off the splitter... and it wasn't even tight. I put the thing together and tried again and seem to have some success and then it started leaking and I tightened it a bit more and it fell apart again. The output valves were solid but who cares if the thing comes apart?Maybe I got a defective unit but the design seems weak so I returned it and will NOT be using this cheap brand, or design, again.

Outstanding customer service! Submitted the review below and the vendor immediately responded with an offer to refund.Original review: Feels heavy and well made except: Main connection (female end) broke completely in half between the threaded part and the neck part that connects to the hose.

This product is great for anyone who hates the splitters you get from Home Depot or Wal-mart.The levers are large and they move so EASILY! No more pliers hanging from the faucet because the levers were so small and hard to move. The embossed directions are large and easy to read as well.If you have issues with your hands or fingers this is a great product. I'm buying more!

Very heavy duty with large, easy to move valves. I have 4 Beehive remote valves hanging off this thing and it handles the weight just fine. Very solid and well constructed.

This is a very expensive hose splitter that we bought only after years of trying other options. This splitter is indeed brass, and the wider spacing between spigots definitely helps with tightening and untightening. The plastic valve knobs are larger and easier to turn than the other brands we've tried. The valves seem to have a position where they sort of "snap" into position when being turned off. This was installed downstream of a watering timer, and everything is working very well with no drips at all, which is remarkable.Because this is relatively expensive, it better not leak. If it does, I will definitely update this review.
