This is a really nice little kit. Comes in a case, and so far I easily learned how to bleed mtb hydros and so far there hasn’t been a fitting I didn’t have. I’m a bit OCD so my only complaint is the nipple storage is just a ziplock and everything just kinda hangs out in there. But I’m now the neighborhood hydro bleeding king. HERE’S A TIP… getting the little bubbles out are hard as they hide behind machined parts inside the levers, lines, and calipers. So… when you get to the end of your bleed, use a vibrating tool of some sort. I use a random orbital mouse sander, no pad, with a microfiber towel over the hook and look on the sander and i use the vibration to get EVERYTHING out so you get a super stiff brake. Also, don’t be lazy and be sure to use the spacer blocks WITH THE CALIPER OFF THE BIKE! Or else you’ll get “no squeeze” out of the lever because there needs to be more room between the pads and disk. That’s what the blocks are for) 100% recommend for the basement builders or even a small bike shop.

Nice kit that worked well in bleeding my Shimano disc brakes. My brakes were new and came with a barb and olive, but this kit has everything else you need. Great quality kit.

Used it to bleed a new XT shimano system of calipers and levers. I followed instructions very carefully and was successful with bleeding a disc system for the first time. Make sure you are using the correct hose ferrels for shimano or sram. They are NOT interchangeable, nor is the fluid. Took my time and tried to do it right the first time. Success. While I believe that, by comparison to good mechanical brakes, disc brakes on bikes are stupid, they do work well…and are heavy and require tinkering.

I haven't used the kit yet but it sure looks like it contains everything you could ever want or need. Lots of adapters to fit pretty much anything out there I would think. And it comes in a really nice case.

Comes with everything you need and more. Quality parts, easy to follow instructions. Very good value for the money doing this yourself instead of paying a bike shop WAY more than the cost of this kit! Feels good to do it yourself and know the job been done right too.

This bleed kit has everything you need for several types of brake. I used it on Shimano XT brakes: BR-M8020 & BL-M8000. The kit was well thought out, as it provides items that make the job easier. For example, there are several lengths of tubing provided. Also, there is a cap for the waste fluid to hold the tubing in place. This was a great inclusion. Another great idea was to use a fill cup that clicked into a metal adapter, which removed the possibility of damaging plastic threads. The syringe is a step above the typical flimsy ones. If you only have a single bike, there will be a lot of spare pieces, so bleed your friend’s bikes. Everything comes in a solid carrying case. Top notch bleed kit.

I've been bleeding all my Shimano mountain bike brakes for the past 10 years, and this is the most complete brake bleed kit I've seen. There are even two extra "pistons" for the syringe plungers, which is great because over time the rubber seals on the pistons loosen and fall off. The other cool thing is that there are 3 different brake bleed blocks: one for 2-piston brakes, one for 4-piston brakes, and even one for road brakes. You get 3 bottles of mineral oil, which is good enough for 3 full bleeds. There's also plenty of extra hose, probably enough for 10+ years of bleeds, since you can use the same piece of hose multiple times. Plus, the whole kit comes with its own carrying case with sliding locks. If you've bled your own brakes before, you know that you want to keep your kit clean and away from your other tools so that you don't contaminate the kit with oil, grease, etc., and this carrying case beats using a Ziploc bag any day. I think it's a great deal for $22 (with the 20% off coupon).
