Buyer beware!! As a previous reviewer stated, just buy the SRAM kit. “Buy once, cry once”!The problem with this kit is that the nipples will not stay connected to the tube. Several times, the syringe and tube would disconnect from the brass nipple fitting and dot fluid would splatter all over the place. After my bleed, I spent 10 minutes wiping the brake fluid splatters up all over the garage. The money saved is not worth the hassle with this kit. I threw it in the trash and will order the SRAM kit. Some cash would have been saved by just buying the SRAM kit to begin with.

Lost 4 hours and a planned ride trying to bleed with this. Too late to return. Going to have to get the official Sram kit. This kit does not work with Sram codes. Lacks the nipple and spinner to open/close the caliper bleed port properly.

Watch a few videos and read a couple instructional videos before using this kit and you will have no problems. This isn’t exactly a beginners job bleeding brakes but the kit will work perfectly! It’s way cheaper than going to a mechanic and you can do your friends brakes as well!

Works well with my Shimano brakes. Can’t ask for much more.

It's the cheapest option out there, but gets the job done...technically.These will work, I am new to this and got it to work eventually. The big issue I had was that one of the tubes was too loose for one of the metal valves that connects to the bleeding port. It felt out during the process and spilled all the dot fluid everywhere, I had to use the rubber band to tighten it. Maybe that's what they're for? Have I read the instructions wrong? LolAnyways, yeah. Just barely enough fluid to get both brakes done, so yeah kudos

It worked well for my Hayes Prime Comp brakes which have an M5 bleed port. I did the front and rear brakes with the included dot 5.1 fluid and there’s definitely enough fluid for a second time around. The kit was great, simple to use and affordable!
