Does not fit a clarinet for marching band because of the silicone ring. Good idea in theory, doesn't work. Had to return.

Got this for my daughter who helpfully informed me she needed one less than 48 hours before she needed one. I'm happy to say it worked just as it should, and the marching band didn't need to march without it's 4th chair clarinet.

My daughter is in marching band, and she often breaks her lyres, so I got this one for her. It says it's for a clarinet, but it won't fit around the middle part of her clarinet, only around the bell. All the kids in her band put it around the middle of the clarinet - at the bell it's too hard to read the music.
