If your printer has its own motor mounting bracket, you only need to use your own.
2: The internal filament feeding hole is small and precise. To ensure that the filament can be inserted smoothly,
you can screw the spring to the loosest position firstly and then tighten it when the filament is inserted.
3: The reference value of E-step is 385. Do an Estep calibration to get exact estep that fits your printer.

FYI, I've bought 9 of these 3Dman dual drive extruders over the past few years but have had to return 4 of them as they were defective right out of the package. These are copies of the more expensive BMG brand dual drive extruders. When they work they work well. The problem is quality control from the China factory that makes them and ships them. So when buying one you are taking a chance of getting one that works or one that has defective issues.

I am on my second one now, but it does work and it is cheap. It has also been running for 3 months at about 16hrs a day. It works great! It does have some flaws and I wish I would have found the root cause before installing the new one.Adding the spacer does help and I recommend... if you haven't read that in any other post (pointed out in one of the pics). The shaft that the bearings ride on wear down and could probably use a little oil. Also the tiny bearing on either side. All the bearing ended up seizing due to the amount of metal dust that was created. After taking it completely apart and cleaning, I oiled all bearings and put it back together. I'll keep it as a spare, cause everything works again and rolls smoothly.I'll more than likely take my printer down again and oil the new one to see if I can get a longer life out of it. Mounted on a Sovol SV01 Original, but I had to drill a hole in the bracket for the adjustment screw. Works great!

I had been having issues with my 2 Anycubic Vyper's extruder's for sometime. These had good reviews and seemed reasonably priced so i ordered 2 for upgrades. The First 2 were awesome. Installation and setup was a breeze. They worked much better than my factory Anycubic extruders. I couldn't have been happier, my prints looked better than ever! .... for 7 days. Then the first one had the exiting bowden tube connector fail. I decided oh well they are awesome so i ordered a replacement and decided to keep the old one for parts. Not 2 days later and the 2nd one had the bowden tube connector fail. Keep in mind this is on 2 separate printers that have worked non stop for 7+ days, beautifully. It turns out that the 2nd one blew the bowden tube completely out and was shooting filament everywhere. Upon inspection it had a bad clog in the bowden tube, understandable. I clear the clog go to reinsert the bowden tube, the connector will not grip it at all. I have spare connectors i could install but this extruder doesn't use standard PC4-M6/M10 screw in connectors. They are press fit and not replaceable. Ugh! Now both of my printers are down. Ugh Ugh!Now what to do? I really like these extruders, but I cant be purchasing new ones every 7-10 days now can I?Well i have this other style all metal extruder maybe that is the ticket. I will try it since i have one that is new. After 6+ hours of fussing with it i have decided that brand, or style, sucks and i never want to see one again. Fortunately my spare 3DMan extruders i ordered earlier arrived, and i want to get to printing so i just swap it onto the printer, reset my esteps and it is purring like a kitten. I decide to chalk up the failures to a couple of bad clogs and order 2 more replacements. That totals 5 3DMan extruders now, that I have purchased in the past 2 weeks. Plus 2 all metal style extruders, that suck.I receive the final replacement order and install it on my 2nd printer and we are off and running again. Did I mention that i Love these extruders. It's now been 3 days with both printers humming along, and BAM another clog. After cursing the 3D printing Gods i get to troubleshooting. Well this time the extruder did not shoot the bowden tube off, that's good. I decide to take apart the extruder and clean the gears as they were quite dirty from grinding filament for 20min. Turns out the clog is pretty bad and i need to replace the bowden tube. No problem, i have a spare Capricorn tube ready just for such an occasion. I pull it out cut it to the length I need, get it installed in the hot end. Go to install it in the Extruder... and the connector will not grip the tube.So here i sit with 1 printer printing (but for how long), another printer out of commission, 4 extruders that will not hold a bowden tube, a gaggle of bowden tube connectors and tubing that i can not use. Do i ship all 5 back and go a different route? Will 3Dman step up and take care of a client that has purchased 5 of their extruders in less than 2 weeks? Do i take things into my own hands and try to tap the exit hole to accept a standard PC4-M10 fitting? I searched Amazon for a similar extruder that used standard PC4-M6/M10 fittings to no avail. Stay Tuned to Find Out what happens!TLDR: I have left a 1 star review, because even though i love these extruders when they work. They seem to only last 7-10 days. If they simply changed the exit Bowden fitting to a standard PC4-M10 fitting this would be a 5 star + product. Here's hoping 3DMan does the right thing and upgrades these accordingly. If so, I would happily buy them. But with the current issue, I most likely am sending all 5 that I have purchased in the past 2 weeks back. I will update the review depending on 3Dman's response.

I am not a fan of knock offs but at the same time like to test items out at a cheap rate. Basically I have been wanting original extruder these guys copied but couldn’t pull the trigger because of the price based on the advantages I would get at that price range and not knowing how well it would work with my setup. Well this checked that box and this style extruder works well and now will be buying the real one. This one is made cheap so you get what you pay for. It’s a matter of time for when the gears break on this item. However I have already printed 50+ prints from it and gotten my moneys worth.Note: You will have to calibrate your extrusion and make sure you measure several times before committing to the changes. I ran a few XYZ calibration and had to adjust my extrusion settings a couple of times before I dialed it in. Also it can be a pain in the ass to load and unload your filament. It’s inconvenient because you don’t have very good access to the gear to move the filament so it adds more time to change to a new roll. Hoping the more expensive version doesn’t have this same issue.
