Worst 3D printer “upgrade” I have purchased since I started with the hobby 7 years ago. Nearly broke my extruder.

I bought these because of the claim that this nano coated "hardened steel" gear set was more wear resistant than my stock gears. I conduct through cleaning and maintenance of my printers every three months. These were installed at the end of September. Three months later, the are practically smooth. I spent a good 30 minutes per printer cleaning out metal dust and shaving from the tool head. Meanwhile, my stock stainless gears that are going on TWO YEAR OLD are still fine.I reached out to BIQU's customer service directly three times over the past eight days and have not received any explanation or solution.BIQU has released a bad product in these extruder gears that is leaving me questioning whether I can trust the quality of their other products. I was considering dropping the money for the overpriced Panda Revo hotends for all of my printers, but I'm not sure it is worth the risk after this.

printing my first benchy with this right now and its coming out great. i dont know why some reviews say this is louder than normal extruder gears, this is just as silent. if yours is making grinding noises you probably didn't put enough grease on the gears.

Dropped right in as if it belong there, and I’ve noticed that some of my print of quality was definitely improved
