It’s more of a metallic pink to me not purple but it’s going to look so cute at my work desk. The size is nice and i like how it has the stapler remover on the back bottom of it.

**** updating this review. This stapler is horrible. As a teacher, I was excited to get a pretty stapler for my new classroom. I bought this during Amazon Prime days to save money. Today, on the FIRST day of school, I went to use this and was so disappointed that IT DOES NOT STAPLE! It isn't jamming...it literally will not close the metal tabs on the staple after it inserts the staple into the paper....and my return window ended last week. How disappointing and ridiculous...a trustworthy brand name stapler that does not staple papers.I am very disappointed with the color of this stapler. I treated myself to a new set of desk/teacher necessities for my new position. I decided to pick lavender/purple. While this stapler is certainly a striking color, it is NOTHING like the color depicted in the example. I'm unsure if I'm keeping it or not.I do hope that the stapler works well and that it is a functional item

As a former officer worker and remaining office supplies addict, I have had and used countless staplers. Recently I needed another one and was astonished to find the listing for this item. When it arrived, I could hardly believe my eyes. Comfy in the hand, nice to look at, holds a whole section of easily-obtained regular staples, BUT they also cleverly built in a section below where 2 spare refill lengths are held. ??! Seriously? Yep. Why the heck haven't I ever seen this feature before? What a brilliant, elegant, simple design. What is that? 3000 staples on board?It gives me hope. If you can improve the design this drastically on an old-fashioned office stapler, maybe some brains out there can figure out some of the bigger problems in this world.Meantime, I love my Bostitch stapler! It's definitely my new go-to ; )

The staples that come inside the storage part of the stapler are very flimsy and will jam up the stapler very easily. I had 30 sets to staple of only 2 pages each and I had to stop to unjam it at least 5 times. Or I had to do it 2-3 times before it would use a staple. Buy separate, sturdy staples and it should be fine.

UPDATE: After one year of light use, this stapler started jamming all the time. Tried to fix it several times. Finally threw it away.Original review: Like so many others, I had to set up a quick home office and purchased this stapler for that purpose. It is comfortable, works as it should, and is kind of cute. The built in staple remover and staple storage in the base are pluses. It does not feel like a super sturdy stapler, so I don't know that it would hold up to heavy office use, but for my purposes, it fits the bill!
