I ordered in green and loved the color. I didn’t use it right away but now that it’s outside the return period, it just keeps on jamming!! I tried to like this product since I LOVED my electric stapler at work. I’m about to toss it out.

I've been using a very old Swingline stapler for well over 50 years. It finally occurred to me that there might be something electronic that did not require me to slam my hand down to staple a few pages. This is awesome, runs on AA batteries or plug it in to an outlet. Easy to load staples. You will love it! :)

This stapler is fast, reasonably quiet, and capable of stapling a number of pages. Its appearance and build is a little less refined than other Amfat products I have purchased, especially their excellent pencil sharpener. The one major flaw I have found with it is a tendency fairly consistently to catch on the staple when I try to remove paper after stapling, so that I can’t remove it, which usually results in triggering the stapler again. About half the time I end up with two or even three staples in the pages by the time I am able to remove them. For this reason I probably would not purchase it again.

I purchased this in green for the rare jobs at work where I have to staple repetitively. I am kicking myself for not testing this out before the return window closed! I actually stopped mid-task to pull up this order and see if i could send it back. No? OK, review time.It makes a loud, sickly sound like a dying servo every time it staples; the guard will not stay set or even; the loading tray, while simple and functional, feels rickety, as in it is difficult to seat correctly and sticks on install if it's even a little crooked, and it wobbles when fully closed; once in the paper (2 or 5 pages thick), staples are loose enough in the paper to wrench the bundles around, making my work look sloppy and crooked. There is no way to adjust thickness, but i didn't think i needed one. Not as small or light as i thought it would be, but i could easily look past that if the darn thing worked well.Three stars, because the color is cute, it runs on (4x AA) batteries so i don't have to deal with a cord, and it does in fact work. It does not work well. I do not imagine that it will work for long, given the issues i've had right out of the box. Maybe i got a dud, but i do not recommend this product.

12-28 Update: Customer service reached out to me and replaced my stapler; I've been using it all day and have not had any issues with jamming as I did with the first stapler. They were super helpful and quick at responding to me. It must have been issues with the first one that made it sound different, this one doesn't sound as loud as the first one.A very OK stapler. When it works it's great but jams a bit more than I'd like. I will staple once and it catches the paper and I will have to double staple it or release the staple holder and wiggle my paper out. Like I mentioned when it works it's a great stapler. I find the double stapling a bit much in my quiet office. Will definitely be looking for another option.
