Won't staple at all! Made wrong inside and prevents staples from reaching front of compartment. NOW, I need to return it. My choice is go 3 mi to drop off at UPS, OR pay $7 for them to pick it up. Can't drive to drop off because of my legs. So now I lose $7? Thanks Amazon and Swingline. 😡

It's not as heavy-duty as the real old-fashioned ones, but it's much more solid than the cheap crap the school gives you as a teacher. Looks good, works well, sturdy and easy to unjam. Heavy but not unusably so-- enough to feel good in hand and to not feel chintzy and breakable.

I order the same brand stapler for my restaurant and they always impress. It's light weight yet durable. In a busy restaurant we use it very often! The rubber applied to the bottom of the stapler helps with grip and helps it remain stationary. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it doesn't hold a full row of standard staples...which I haven't encountered with this brand. But honestly..not a big deal! Great product and trusted brand.

Item arrived in an extremely shabby box. The item itself seems to be new, so I don’t know what’s going on there. The box seemed to be drenched in a strong, cheap-smelling perfume that got worse as I opened it. I didn’t realize the stapler doesn’t come with staples so I can’t comment about the item itself but the packaging was extremely unpleasant.
