I’ve been using this product for years. Pool o-rings, hose connections, valves, and winter installation of my polar cover on the filter inlet. It has never failed me. Had been using the 1oz tubes from my local pool supply store but recently found this large tube. This should last me with expected great results.

This lasts quite a long time and keeps the O-rings supple. A little goes a long way.

I tried to add this to the top ring of my filter. It was heavy and the water seeped out as I was trying to put this around the seal. If I had used this when the filter was dry, it probably would have worked 100%, but because I put it on after the fact there were still gaps where the water leaked out. So next year I'm going to put it on before I even install the filter and I'm pretty sure it will work fabulous. I would recommend this product but use it before water is added.

I go through a small tube of Boss 820 lube every season so I was delighted to find this larger size tube. The 5.3 oz. tube will last much longer and is a fraction of the cost the pool store charges. Boss 820 lube (regardless of who makes it) is an invaluable product for anyone who has a pool, spa or any type of water pump. Using it to coat the various gaskets and seals on your equipment will extend their life ten fold and prevent leaks. I also use it on mating surfaces to ease in future disassembly. This is one inexpensive product that will save money and make your maintenance tasks easier.

I had purchased this product for a hot tub diverter valve replacement. About is operating smoothly and not leaking. Works well! It is a bit more watery than expected. However, that's the way it supposed to be apparently because this is professional grade
