With 1.5 Ft.-Lbs. of impact energy and a no-load bpm rating of 0-5,100, this hammer work as hard as the user. It provides three modes – rotary hammer, rotation only and hammer only. The brushless motor and low weight of 5.3 Lbs. (tool only, not including battery) maximize runtime for extended applications and provide an outstanding impact-to-weight ratio. The powerful GBH18V-21 is compatible with Bosch 18V Li-ion batteries, but for optimal results, it requires a Bosch 18V 4 Ah battery or higher. This thing pooped the bed within a week of using it on a job. Starting slinging grease all over the masonry. Get a real rotary drill not this toy.

I still have my original Bosch cordless drill from many many years ago. I have one other lighter Bosch hammer drill and it too works just fine. This is a larger SDS type I am driving 8 foot 5/8" ground rods into difficult soil. Love it!

This thing is a beast and I absolutely love it. I have the upper body strength of a newborn baby, and I can drill holes in my basement cinderblock walls like a hot poker through an eyeball. This thing is the bees knees.

I purchased to add to my 18 volt bosch tools, particularly I purchased to use while encapsulation of my crawlspace, we used the sds hammer to pre drill for Christmas tree fasteners used to affix encapsulation barrier to the foundation. it worked great for this, but it can't compete with the corded bulldog on power and torque applied by hammer.

Removed 1150 tiles and leftover thin-set, also drilled closet track holes and moreI bought 2X 4 amp batteries, sadly I only needed 1.4 amps can remove 250 tiles & thin-set on 1 charge only. (a full DIY work day :-))

This is very powerful.Batteery stuff has come a long way, and I now prefer it in almost all instances to corded or gas-powered equipment.This is a good example of how cordless can be about as good as corded equipment, and a heck of a lot easier and simpler and faster to just get to it.
