Longevity seems good. I bought 5 & am still using 1st blade. So far i've cut a couple different materials (steel & aluminum)& it cuts quickly.

I hadn't changed my bandsaw blade since ???I was waiting a very long time for my old harbor fright bandsaw to cut through through 3/16 or 1/4 inch metal, a very long time.I wasn't sure what blade size I needed, so I bought the cheapest one I could find. I guessed right. This fit my 20 year old harbor fright bandsaw.Whoa, this cut through 3 inch channel like butter. It worked way better than I expected.

These metal cutting band saw blades are the perfect fit and last a long time. I have never broken one. The teeth will eventually wear out after a lot of use, but that is to be expected. I typically get over a year of use out of each one and I use my metal cutting almost every week. Great product. Smooth cutting.

They make good enough cuts in mild steel and the welded seems are flawless. It did dull somewhat quickly, after about 15 cuts of 1/4 x 2 mild steel strap it cuts much slower than before. Notably it hasn’t started to cut crooked like most blades will. overall I’m happy with it for the price. If my bandsaw was liquid cooled it may have been a different story. I would recommend it for someone who has a bandsaw that doesn’t get used very often. I don’t think I would try to use it for a shop application or for a big/important job.

I have purchased 4 of these blades, only had a problem with one snapping in two. It was on the saw for about 2 hours, maybe 15 minutes cut time and it snapped in half. A clean brake, no fouling of the material being cut. I will be sending this one back so they can check it out for material quality control. The next blade is going strong for a couple of weeks now, maybe 15 hours of cut time so far.
