The drill bit is great. Cut through a stucco, foam, plywood, then plywood, foam, stucco, without any issue at all. The hole to put a pull string in is tiny though. If I was going to use this often I'd take a piece of .032 or .040 safety wire to poke through this hole. BUT, honestly, I just use a short fiberglass pull rod after drilling, it's a straight line obviously! Not that important to mark off any points.Also, kudos on the plastic case it came in, reusable, great place to store the bit.Overall, great addition to the tool bag.

Used it to drill a 3/8 hole through landscape timbers so I could drive rebar into the ground. Worked perfectly.

It was pretty inexpensive so I figured it be cheap. Showed up in a real nice threaded plastic tube. It blew thru the thick flooring and carpet without wrapping the carpet threads around it. It cut them. I wish the hole in it was just a little bigger for pulling wire. But it does what it's made for very well. I'm not an I stalker and will never live long enough to use it 300 times. But for the price, it's real nice. It's sharp.

Husband uses this for work to drill through peoples homes to install cables, this is very heavy duty and can withstand even the toughest jobs without breaking or bending. It is very sharp and hasn’t missed a beat going through some of the homes tough exteriors

The hole in the bit is perfect for pulling cable back through the hole you just drilled.

I bought a 3/8-inch by 18-inch long drill bit that arrived perfectly in a nice plastic package. At first I thought it was not as pictured, but indeed it's excellent. I sort of expected the pulling hole to be slightly wider, but it's my first one. Thank you Bosch. Please make a 1/8-inch one.
