This is perfect for what I'm doing with it. I'm making homemade vanilla extract, it's perfect! The seal is very tight.

I needed an 8 ounce bottle to make homemade vanilla extract. This is a nice 8 ounce size bottle. Sturdy glass, not too thin, stopper top holds securely and is leakproof.

This sealing bottle is perfect for homemade salad dressing. It was a bit expensive, but it fits nicely in the fridge and works well. I can also see using it when preparing to have friends over for mojitos - having the fresh lime juice ready in advance makes that experience fun and easy!

These are small little bottles but they are well-built and they keep carbonated beverages fizzy. I bought a bunch of these and now I enjoy a cold drink anytime I want out of a quality bottle.. Dishwasher safe!!

I bought several to use for making vanilla extract - I thought that having matching bottles would "look better" when friends would ask about the progress of my extracts. I give the bottles four stars - primarily because they look good and seem to be sturdy enough for the task. I haven't really tested the bottles to see how well they seal - I did have a small scare when the lid on one of my bottles flipped open while I was cleaning the bottle (I accidentally brushed against the flip-up mechanism). After that incident I now keep my thumb on the lid when I shake the bottles (as one of the steps in making the extract). That's my reason for the one-star deduction.I bought only the 8.5 ounce size and I can fit 8 ounces of vodka and up to 10 split/cut vanilla beans and have an inch or so of space remaining, which allows me to shake the contents. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
