The first one of these worked for about 2 weeks, then the case would not take a charge or charge the phone. Tried various resets and troubleshooting, but would not function. Returned and got another one, because I really like the case and thought it was just a bad unit. Again after only a week this time, the case stopped working. Symptoms slightly different with the case light flashing like it was charging, but all the time. I used Apple charging cables. Only thing I can attribute the problem to is that I remove the phone from the case about every other day to use an audio cable (because it won't work through the case). Possible the plug is just too fragile to reconnect more than a few times.

Right, so I've been giving this battery case a good go on my phone, and I must say, it's a bit of a chunky monkey. Adds a fair bit of weight and bulk to the phone, which takes some getting used to. But, on the plus side, the extra juice is a lifesaver. I'm getting through a full day and then some without having to hunt for a charger. The built-in stand is handy for watching videos on the train too. Not sure about the black colour though, shows every fingerprint under the sun!

PROS-rubber material provides good shock protection for phone-does a decent job charging my 16Pro Max-as long as you pay attention to the instructions, attaching / removing from the iPhone is quick and easy.-the incorporated stand can be useful.CONS-I wouldn’t call the stand invisible but it is retractable into a housing that protrudes 3-4mm from the back of the case.-the shape of the case makes it a bit thicker than perhaps desirable.-it would be nice if you could recharge it with MagSafe but you have to use a cable.-battery has a relatively low charge / recharge rate but probably not much of an issue for its intended use.NOTES-power draws:Charged iPhone PM from 34% to 42% in 15 minutes and to 53% in 35 min = ~33%/hr. This = ~900mAh and dropped the battery less than 25% according to the charge status lights, so, while not an exhaustive test, it indicates that the claimed 8500 mAh capacity might be reasonable.Pulls 6.5W while charging the case battery-dimensions:17 x 8.5 x 2.5cmWeight = 150gMY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

I ordered this for my daughter’s iPhone 14 pro which is permanently glued to her hand. We have a lot of separate battery packs, some of which have built-in lightning cables, but they are all bulky and unwieldy. This battery pack case adds a small amount of weight and heft but is still significantly smaller and lighter than the phone plus a separate battery pack. The 7000 mAh battery is quite a small capacity, and insufficient to fully charge the phone, but is enough to provide a top-up when she's out and about. The case itself provides decent drop protection, and the inclusion of a kickstand is a nice feature. The current price of £27.99 is at the higher end of what would be paid for a separate battery and case, but the integration is what you are paying a premium for, and it is very reasonable.

This phone case for iphone has a built in charger so its convenient when travelling because you dont have to find a plug to charge your phone. Theres also a stand on the back of this so you can put it on the table while watching shows and videos. However, the phone case was a bit too heavy .

This is a mostly unobtrusive way to give your phone extra battery life and the case features a fold-out stand that is as handy as those things usually are.It fits well and the weight increase isn't too bad, though it definitely adds bulk that might be a problem for some.
