These Bont Roller Skate Cushions are designed for the Bont Prodigy, Tracer, Zeus, Infinity, and Athena roller skate plates but may fit other roller skate brand plates with the same dimensions. The cushions are made with extremely high-end urethane and 88A in hardness. These cushions can be used for roller derby skates, quad speed skates, figure skates and roller hockey skates.
There are two different shaped cushions. One is shaped like a cone and the other like a barrel. Most skaters use a barrel cushion on the bottom and a cone on top but some speed skates can be set up with barrel cushions on top and bottom it depends on your preference.
HISTORY
Bont Skates was founded in Sydney in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational short track ice speed skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support. Bont quickly became the world's largest producer of ice speed skates and then branched out into inline speed skates, quad speed skates, roller derby skates, and long track speed skates. Bont was the first footwear manufacturer to use exotic materials like fiberglass in 1974, Kevlar in 1986 and Carbon Fiber in 1989, and the first to use heat moldable resins and thermoplastics. Bont was also the first company to use adjustable ice blades and remains the world's largest producer of speed skates and custom speed skates.

Cute cushions! I wanted to share that they do fit Sure-Grip Avenger plates. I can't speak for how long they last, but since they are Bont, a well respected skate brand, I suspect they will be the last ones we ever need to buy (unless we want to change colors!)

I roll in the Parkstars and have read endlessly that the first thing you should buy for your skates is a new set of cushions. I’ve been using the Parkstars for almost 3 months and finally made the jump.The cushions installed easily and perfectly. I out the blue cushions on my teal skates and they look good. The ride is a little more reactive rather than stiff and “they” were right. The skates feel better with the softer cushions. This was a good use of $12 for my beautiful skates.
