These Bont Roller Skate Cushions are designed for the Bont Prodigy, Tracer, Zeus, Infinity, and Athena roller skate plates but may fit other roller skate brand plates with the same dimensions. The cushions are made with extremely high-end urethane and 4 hardnesses in hardness. These cushions can be used for roller derby skates, quad speed skates, figure skates and roller hockey skates.
There are two different shaped cushions. One is shaped like a cone and the other like a barrel. Most skaters use a barrel cushion on the bottom and a cone on top but some speed skates can be set up with barrel cushions on top and bottom it depends on your preference.

HISTORY
Bont Skates was founded in Sydney in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational short track ice speed skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support. Bont quickly became the world's largest producer of ice speed skates and then branched out into inline speed skates, quad speed skates, roller derby skates, and long track speed skates. Bont was the first footwear manufacturer to use exotic materials like fiberglass in 1974, Kevlar in 1986 and Carbon Fiber in 1989, and the first to use heat moldable resins and thermoplastics. Bont was also the first company to use adjustable ice blades and remains the world's largest producer of speed skates and custom speed skates.

These cushions are amazing, they feel like I'm skating on marshmallows. It takes some getting used to, but jesus christ the difference is night and day. I used to have lean so hard on my edges to be able to turn, now I'm fully turning before the thought is even fully formed in my head. These cushions make skating effortless, and now I understand why some people were so much more agile than me. If you're doubting your abilities as a skater, you just need to replace the stock equipment. Cushions, wheels, dance plugs...They make all the difference..

I replaced the stock 88a cushions with the softer 78a, and wish I'd done it sooner! It's made such a difference in the maneuverability of the Prostars. Highly recommend!

I originally bought these hoping thy would work in a pair of moxi beach bunnies but for reasons that have nothing to do with this review i sold those skates (i hated them) however I tried these cushions on the top plate side of my pilot falcon f-16 plates and they work perfectly and even gave me a little more room to adjust the nut on the kingpin than the stock bionic cushions.You cant tell in the photo that they are the purple Bont cushions because i tossed them in when i dyed another set of wheels black but theyre the ones closest to the plate.

Park stars come with 88a cushions. But i first ordered the pearl color also 88a and the difference was crazy. Then I replaced the boot side cushions with these blue 83a and they made everything even better!!! Turning is so much easier now. Definitely make the plate much more responsive. Highly recommend purchasing if you are still skating on stock cushions. You won’t regret it I promise!

Bought to replace the stock black bushings in my Parkstars. I dunno what they use as a stock bushing in their skate backaches but I didn’t like it. Hard and plasticy feeling. Upgraded to the 83 I believe, and the fee of these bushings are way different than the stock bushing.
