My Ram oil plug was rounded and I couldn’t get a grip on it. Didn’t wanna use vise grips so I otdered these. The socket went on easily with a few good tapes with a small hammer, used cheater pipe on the 3/8” ratchet and it came right off. Very happy!

Doing the 1st oil change myself on my 2014 Chrysler Town and Country van after the one the dealership did at purchase was a real challenge. This is what I found. A stripped head on the oil pan drain bolt, with no way to get it out with a socket or channel locks or small pipe wrench, I purchased these bolt extractors and within 5 minutes it was no longer a problem. I did my oil change and replaced the bolt with a new one from the auto parts store. These saved me $140.00 from having the dealer remove it and then do the oil change. I can see this kit already paid for itself with one use and many more ahead on other projects. I definitely recommend these extractors for the do-it-yourselfer or backyard mechanic.
