A furnace company was going to install a new capacitor on my furnace for over $400.00. After the shock I went online and saw how easy it was to replace and I ordered the Bojack. It arrived quickly and I installed it in minutes. Furnace works fine and the cost was less than $20.00. Thank goodness!

Fixed my a/c for under $10. What’s not to love? The blower motor needs a capacitor to start it running. When the capacitor begins to fail the motor will make a loud hum or may not start at all. This was an easy fix on my unit.

Nicew to be able to buy what I needed to replace (a working) capacitor that was 20 years old in my furnace. I cheeked the uF with my DVM and it is within spec. I hope this lasts as long as the old one. Good to replace so I don't have a breakdown when I really need the furnace!

Work great, it slightly small in diameter then the original, l had to add a small piece of rubber for it to be tight in the holder. But other then that it's great. We will see how long it last.

It was exactly what was needed, it worked perfectly. My furnace booted up and the heat was great. I used 5mf instead of 4mf that I removed from my furnace and it works much better then the 4 mf.

This was a direct replacement for a 27L570 motor run capacitor. It works. Good value. We'll see how long it lasts. The one it replaced had been around for at least 12 years. For now it's 5 stars.

Good replacement for my hvac fan starter capacitor 5 MFD 370vac 10000 AFC. Fan stopped and MY AC kept running so I stopped the unit and just ordered this little guy/replaced it and it did the trick. I guess if fan motor is not too old in most cases it’s just capacitor to replace although fan motor which could cost hundreds, can be Replaced as well just in a days work, For now I am happy I didn’t need to do all that!

My AC stopped working and I called my home warranty and they sent a tech. Lo and behold here comes the bending over with no lube situation. This is Phoenix, and the AC stopped working on late August of 2023, so it was hot but not July hot (no day in July under 110F) and the warranty took over 10 business days to get back to me about fixing my AC.I have a trane and the life it's about 20 years, my unit is 16. So the home warranty said my unit was obsolete and I needed a new unit. I said NO. I want to repair. When talking to the guy at the home warranty place he said that it was 980 in parts alone. He gave me the names and I looked them up. I told him that OEM parts that he said, well I found them for 350. He says he has to wait on the techs report and then he'll call me back.I wait another week, in Phoenix August weather... stupid people. And the repair quote is $3200 in parts plus labor and the replace quote is over $12,000.In the meantime while these people scratched they butts and tried to rip me off, I went online and searched for alternatives on how to fix my AC. I found a 8 min videos with common causes and fixes for AC motors.I bought this item and the control unit for the AC. Well, me with a drill, the $10 capacitor and a 8 min online video solved an issue that an AC company and the home warranty people that wanted to charge me over $3200 plus labor to repair, not even counting it was over $12,000 to replace. This capacitor should be a staple on any AC tech tools but the desire to screw their common man outweights whatever simple solutions there are for money. Shame on them. This is the 1st thing I mention to my clients and friends if they ever have any AC issues.

I discovered on Sunday morning that my furnace blower wasn't working. A quick test with a meter showe a possible bad capacitor. It was going to be cold enough for frost so I tried finding a capacitor locally on a Sunday and nobody had it. Since I work during most supply house's hours I would have trouble getting one quickly. Amazon to the rescue with 4-8 am next day delivery. The furnace was running by 6:45 AM Monday. 4 stars becaus the tolerance is higher than factory part so I will still have to get a proper spec and keep this as a spare. Can't complain for $12.
