This pulse ox works better than any other I’ve purchased. It *will* work when I’m moving, but I have to work to keep my hand very still. I’ve not been able to check accuracy yet since I’ve not been to the dr since buying it, but I’ll be doing that soon and will update if it’s not accurate. It seems to work well with the phone app as well. At this point, I’ve no reason not to recommend.

As a standalone unit it seems to work fine. Easy to install the two included AAA batteries and the unit turns on with a simple button press.Unit is comfortable on your finger with soft silicon internals. Doesn't pinch as tightly as some others I've tried. Starts reading quickly after a couple of seconds. After about 10 seconds it gives a summary screen of your results. One nice feature is that you can press the button while taking a reading and it will "rotate" the screen to different positions to make it easier to read. This is a nice feature but only partially implemented as it forgets this rotation setting every time it shuts off. Would be very nice if it simply remembered the setting for the next use. So the net result is that the nice feature really won't get used because it's not worth pressing the button 3 times every time to rotate the display just to make it easier to read.Accuracy seems fine and is comparable to other units I have. I don't have any way to compare to a calibrated unit. These inexpensive blood O2 meters should just be used to check your levels casually anyway. If you have a real medical condition that requires accurate monitoring then you should be using a medical grade calibrated meter anyway.Where this unit let me down is with the bluetooth connectivity and the tracking app. Short answer is that I could never get the app to work. Tried using the app on iOS (not sure if it's available on android) but it just crashes all the time and can't ever get it to connect to the unit. Another oddity is that the meter shows up as a bluetooth device named "Mobile phone". Seems like a lack of quality control or support in the app integration. This is really unfortunate as that's in theory the feature that differentiates this from other less expensive meters. So if you intend on using this just as a standalone meter it seems to work fine. If you want the bluetooth connectivity and the app to track your results then I can't recommend.

My wife is on oxygen 24 hours a day, so proper oxygen sensing is a must. She has had numerous oximeters over the years, and she says this is the best one yet. It fits secure on the finger, but feels nice and soft. I check my oxygen also to compare her levels and this senses accurately. The display is bright and very legible. The Wavefform graph display is a nice bright yellow.I have arrhythmia so I appreciate this feature. I like that after a short time the display changes temporarily to tell you if your numbers are normal or not. Another awesome feature since we don't always remember what are normal numbers. While the app is nice to have, I'm 60 and there are a few too many steps. But stand alone, this is a fantastic health device that stands out for it's function and value. Highly Recommended

This is a good basic pulse oximeter, with an added feature of having the option of a Bluetooth connection to the OxyKnight app.I've had a few of these things over the past few years since covid. They're usually pretty similar, but I found that there are differences in quality in that some take a very long time to get a reading and some are very sensitive to fingers that might not be in great shape or have poor circulation. This unit seems to be a better one.First impression opening the box was that I wished this were rechargeable instead of requiring two AAA batteries. I would pay extra to have a rechargeable unit so I wouldn't have to worry about keeping new batteries around.Operation and fit of the unit was okay. You open these by squeezing like a clothespin. This one is similar, but I found the plastic to be a bit slippery to get a good grip on it, so I really just shoved my finger into it to open it. Not a big deal, but could have been better. But once my finger was in, I found this oximeter to be much more comfortable than most, since it has soft rubber padding that grips the finger. I also found that it started to read almost immediately each time - which was great. Other units that I've tried took a bit of fiddling to get my finger in exactly the right spot to start a reading. This one is very forgiving. My favorite part on this was the actual reading itself. When you start the reading you immediately hear your heartbeat and see the wave on the screen. That's a nice feature since you can make sure quickly that you have a good fit and connection. Depending on what finger you're using and your position, you also can press the button during a reading to rotate the display to face up, down, left, or right so you get the best view and readability. After your reading is complete in about 30 seconds, you get a summary that your pulse and oxygen are okay (or not). There's an option to connect this to an app via Bluetooth, which I suppose would be good for a caregiver to keep records and history to show to a doctor or nurse. I don't personally think I'll be using that since I don't need another app on my phone. But the option is there is you want it.In summary, this oximeter gets points for accuracy and comfort, and I think is well worth the cost. You'll find cheaper units, but I think the fit and accuracy and ease of getting a good connection make this a winner.

I have used a few of these types of devices over the years, I have only had this one for a short time, but I definitely think I like it the best so far. I am still exploring the app, but so far, it works well, and I haven't had any issues with Bluetooth. Whatever silicone they use on the inside is much softer than any of the other products like this that I have bought through other companies.I will come back and provide an update if anything changes but so far, so good.

I have bought other products from this company before and they worked well, so i bought this for my son and he loves it! great functionality and much cheaper than some of the other brands i’ve bought before.
