WOW, UNEXPECTED SURPRISE! Everything worked...played CD beginning to end no problems, we preset, programmed 17 FM stations but, you can set 30 stations. Clarity, crisp sound that "packs a punch"! Comes with antenna if you need (we needed to swerve it on only 1 station to get rid of static and it was clear as a bell...easy adjustment). You can register for a 3 year warranty online! It also has Aux, USB, Bluetooth, many extra features we didn't use. Outside case looks beautiful and easily sits on a end table, counter or shelf. You can' t go wrong for this price! Very happy.h

Great sound, easy setup, versatile- cdโs, Bluetooth, fm. A good alternative to the Bose radio no longer available. And a reasonable price for the value.

The Oakcastle HIFI 500 Bluetooth 5.2 Stereo System for Home will play all your CDs and CD copies in mp3 excellently without flaws. Its 60 W is more than enough to make the CD player in it create a decent environment of 16 bit by 44 MHz of music with adequate, soothing treble and noticeable bass. You will not get anything that efficient than this stereo system, for it will play FM radio with 30 pre-set stations of your like, inbuilt quality speakers, lightweighted remote control and input for auxiliary equipment of your choice. Oakcastle still offers full bass management and Bluetooth connectivity with your phone: it means that you can also play streamming content from your phone to its powerful speakers! At this price and looks you will find very hard to pick another stereo this classy and gorgeous!

Really wanted to like this little stereo. I was looking for a small CD player for my bedroom, and this seemed perfect. Compact size, good sound, seemed to be well constructed.Unfortunately, when I tried listening to CDs, I noticed that the unit would randomly stop in the middle of a track and turn itself off. I would turn it back on, and it would pick up at whatever random point in the CD it stopped at. Always in the middle of a song. I hoped this was a fluke, but it did this every single time, with multiple CDs.I exchanged the original unit I bought for an identical one, hoping I just got a "bad one" the first time. No such luck. The replacement unit did the same thing. It would not play a CD all the way through. I will be returning this and getting something else.

Like: Quality, look, sound and feel. Great looking for the kitchen or a small-medium sized room. I own a theater system currently built on Klipsch Atmos speakers/Onkyo nr7100 so sound quality has been in our household for decades.To Oakcastle and customers: The unit is OK, but, every time the unit is turned on out of standby the bass and treble have been reset to 0. To get tone quality set, you have to adjust the treble and bass again and again and again every time it's turned back on. It does NOT hold those settings. I think it's a flaw in the firmware. Over all a likable product except for that flaw.

Bought this for my mom who has moved into an independent living center. She wanted something small and easy to use that had both a radio and a CD player. I programmed the FM presets and it works great. My only complaint is when you scan for radio stations, it resets the presets so you can use scan after making your own. Sound is very good for this size unit. Recomended.

Im really happy with my purchase. It is very well made and easy to use. Its enclosed in a beautiful black wood cabinet that is very solid and heavy. The speakers are large and give a very clean powerful sound. It plays all cds- even the ones that were made on a CD recorder. The cd and bluetooth and radio play very well. It has plenty of power and can play as loud as you want and can be heard all over the house. I have mine in the kitchen and it is a perfect pair for Amazon Music for crystal clear streaming of my favorite songs. i would highly recommend this unit
