It works. I replaced the motor. I had to cut and butt the wires for the light. Now the fridge and freezer are running great.

I usually don’t leave reviews however I think this is very important. Please do not buy this product. My fridge is almost went broken because of this installed product. The fridge’s motherboard was almost burnt. The product worked for couple hours and stopped. I had to call the technician twice and pay for the service twice.

What can I say, it works. As far as the life of the motor, I cannot say, but since the GE model does not last a long time, it couldn't be much worse. I bought two, so that when this ultimately gives out, I am not hard pressed to find another. It fits perfectly in the holder and the fan blades fits on the end of the shaft just like the original.

The house we bought had a built-in 48" Jenn Air refrigerator (JS48PPFXDA) that was ~20 years old - and on the decline. Temperatures fluctuated, but we determined we could not use the freezer side anymore, as it would get up to 50 degrees, and never lower than 30. After dealing with this for more than a year, with it getting progressively worse, we decided it needed replacement, but a new 48" refrigerator was not an option.Took apart the freezer and found that there was ice all over the wiring - so it was getting cold enough, just wasn't getting the air down to the freezer section. The evaporator fan motor (Panasonic UDQT26MT6, Jenn Air part 67003241) wasn't working, and was discontinued. After much searching, and consulting with a local appliance repairman, I decided to order this one, even though it's a 9.5V, and the old one was a 12V. It was the same 4-wire configuration, and had the same sized/shaped wiring harness connector.Installation was relatively straightforward, but it didn't connect to the wiring harness very easily - have to push pretty hard. That said, it's not listed as a replacement for my machine, so I can't complain there. Also, the pin that the fan blades mount on was about an inch longer than my old one, so I cut it down to size with an angle grinder and filed the cut edge smooth. Put it into place, connected the wiring, pressed the freezer door switch (as if the door were closed) and waited about 15 seconds. Finally, it kicked on, and it worked! This afternoon the freezer temp is reading 5 degrees - it has never gotten that cold while we've had it! And now that the cold air is getting down where it needs to, and is getting pushed over to the refrigerator side, the fridge gets to the upper-30s where we set it, instead of also being in the low 50s.All things considered, this was a ~$20 part that saved me from spending a couple thousand dollars. Hopefully it will last a while.

Nice price point. Worked fine out of the box. There was some shipping damage as the motor shaft was sticking through the inner shipping box, but did not appear to damage the motor. Due to the various refrigerators this will work in it may require wire splicing. If you require the motor with the light harness this is not a direct fit. It was easier to use the old harness and cut the 4 wires going to the motor and splice the new motor in. You can find the motor and harness that includes the light harness or the one that also adds the thermistor, but they are much more expensive. If you choose to splice the wires I recommend using heat shrink connectors that seal the moisture out.On a side note the previous 10 year old OEM motor was starting squeal. I removed and lightly oiled the external bearing and was able to get it working ok but was concerned that it was getting old and may not work at cold temps. How to check if the evaporator fan is working? Open the fresh food door for 3 minutes while checking the fan in the freezer section. You may have to remove the ice box to get your hand above the vent over the fan to check for air movement. The fan should come on slowly in that 3 minutes and increase in speed over a few minutes. If the fan jumps to a high speed quickly the main board may be bad. You tube has videos walking through the checks you can perform.

My refrigerator started making noise and I isolated it to the Evaporator Fan motor. used partselect website to find the replacement part number and a video on how to replace the motor. The Part on Amazon was 1/3 the cost and the quality looks to be the same as the original. The old Fan blade and rubber grommets were in good condition and i did not need to replace them. I had to remove the ice dispenser motor assembly and Ice maker to gain access to the evaporator Fan module. The are easy to remove with only one or two screws holding them in place and a couple electrical harness to disconnect. The new motor electrical harness only has 4 wires. My evaporator fan module however has a light and has a 6 wire electrical harness. I had to cut the 4 wires off the old and fan motor and then splice the new fan motor in.The whole job took me about 1 hour but i went slow and took my time.
