The tape sticks good but tears too easy when pulling it off after painting.It's not easy to pull off small pieces.

I thought 3M masking tape was the go-to…standard painting accessory that people shouldn’t be without.Picked some up the other day to mask off some trim on a door…masked it off, only left it on there long enough to put on 2 coats, which was about 3 hours. Pulled it off (slowly, I might add) and now I’m going to have to repaint the wall because it pulled the old paint up.Seriously? And insult to injury, it didn’t even really mask the trim off very well at all.Been painting my own homes for 20 years, I know how to use masking tape…this was a very high tac formula that was too strong and somehow still too weak to actually keep the paint from seeping in underneath. Try Frog or Duck brand…that’s what I’ll be using from now on.

We tried cheaper painter’s tape and we learned the hard way that there is a reason Scotch Blue is preferred! Great tape!
