Didn’t work as smoothly as I’d hoped. The tape isn’t sticky enough to pull the tapegun without using both hands at all times. Can only tape a few inches at a time and have to constantly go back over to restick. Even then, I had a lot of paint bleed where I used the tapegun.

We've been doing a lot of home renovation projects and initially did the taping with our bare hands. Lines were never straight, sometimes bunched up, and tons of awkward tear angles. Then I saw and bought this tool and it's the best. Lays flat, straighter than before and switching out rolls is easy. There's a little applicator roller that uses static to keep the tape end lifted so you don't have to try and unpeel it between uses. Can't imagine laying tape without this guy now
