Wiring harness did connect.Knob doesn't fit the stalk and has wrong orientation.Output for wiring didn't seem to match TJ. Instead of speeds 1-2-3-4 it was more like 2-4-1-3.Look elsewhere for TJ.

Supposed to be same as original. It isn’t, but it works

I have had it for a few weeks and it's working great besides I only have 3 speeds now to choose from when I did have 4 but other then that it's perfect for the price u can't beat it.

Bought an aftermarket HVAC control unit 9 months ago and seller no longer sells them. I bought this specific part as the fan speed high wasn’t working. I tested the blower resister and realized the fan switch was the culprit. Installed pretty easy so now let’s see how long it last.

Took about 10 minutes to install it using a Phillips screwdriver. Was a perfect replacement for my 99 Jeep Wrangler. Was delivered quickly so I didn't have to wait long. At the local parts stores, they could only get the module with this switch, temp dial and selector switch as a whole assembly. All that was bad was the blower switch. I saved $100.00 by going this route, and the only extra labor was removing one more screw and pulling the dial off. This is the way to go.

3 months. That's how long this switch lasted. If that's how long you are keeping your Jeep, then I'm sure you will be pleased. For the rest of us, this is CRAP! Terrible!IMPORTANT UPDATE: I need to offer an apology. The switch was not the problem. If you are here to buy a switch for your Jeep, because one or more of the positions are no longer working, you need to immediately Google "Jeep TJ Blower Problem." You will discover many forums discussing how the first thing to go is the switch, then when you replace it, other things die, or you smell burning plastic or hot metal, or fire. In short, you have to replace the Resistor and even the blower motor. In the end I replaced all three plus the control box, because I ended up frying the connecter attached to the Vent Selector Vacuum Switch. It happens because the whole system gets old, starts having to work harder, and begins drawing more power than it should...enough to melt wires and plastic connectors. And your first clue that this is happening: you lose one or more of the speeds on your blower control switch. Also, when you change out the resistor and the blower motor, you will get to discover a small forest floor of twigs, leaves, pine needles and gunk, that the blower has sucked in and piled up by the resistor and next to the AC. Put your hand in the hole and be amazed by how much crap you pull out.I hope I helped you NOT make the same mistake I did by buying a new switch then complaining when it seemed to die after 3 months.
