The product fit and now the fan switch can control the fan on lower speeds. It was previously stuck working on none or full blast. Just installed it, not the easiest to get to but my sons small hands and arm could maneuver down inside the dash to remove the bolt holding it. The plug worked fine and am happy with the results.

Took a minute to replace, worked good. This is for the light switch. The original design from the factory is flawed, its a poor design. The full current runs through this switch and it overheats. Slightly melts. This is an exact replacement. It will probably last a few years, and then fail. Not the fault of the manufacturer. It's Ford's poor design, with no long term solution.

If you have a ford van or f150 that has a blower that only runs on low speed regardless of where the fan speed switch is turned, this is what you need. It is genuine motorcraft and will last for years. The cheap knock offs only last about a year. It takes about 20 minutes to change this switch out. The issue is a defect in the original switch that caused it to overheat and melt. As long as your harness is still Intact, this is just plug and play. If the harness is melted badly as well, you may need to buy a new pig tail. I installed this on my 1999 E250 and it was instant gratification.
