In my 1992 4Runner, the metal tab that forms the actual lever of the switch should bend upwards, but is bent downwards on this replacement. This means that the fascia covering the HVAC controls cannot be replaced, because it collides with the lever. It seems to work in this configuration, so temporarily better than nothing, but I'll need to replace/modify this part to get it to work correctly.

Good fit but cheep plastic and poor Quality the spades were loose and did not plug into the wiring harness without bending the switch only lasted approximately three months and I had to tear my dash apart again to replace it

Advertised as T100 compatible. The switch lever on this part was assembled incorrectly for my 1997 Toyota T100 (offset down instead of up) so it would not align with the faceplate when installed. Disassembled switch and reassembled with offset up to allow correct alignment. Switch now installed and functions normally for this vehicle. Return not required.

A design flaw in most late 80's, early 90's Toyota vehicles - these switches can't handle the current and eventually melt and then you'll notice that you can only hit one or two positions of blower strength. I used this switch in my 1990 corolla wagon - the lever is upside down but you can straighten it out in a vice and it works fine. The oem part for my corolla goes for $90+ even on eBay! Buy extras for when the next one melts.

Product was exactly the same, works perfect, the only problem I have it was made in China, I usually don't buy anything from China, only US made products, it's amazing how the Chinese are making Japanese products, and the Chinese can't stand the Japanese, I think Japanese products are great they last very long, unlike Chinese products they do not last very long, so I'm hoping this switch will last a very very long time
