The bridge piece was about a half mm too thick to fit my Cordoba classical guitar. I had to lay it flat on a piece of 150 grit sandpaper and sand it down. I then had to take my Dremel tool to take off a lot of material. 9mm was way too high. The little sanding drum worked pretty well. It took a lot of sanding by hand to get it down to the 3.5mm height I needed. It very hard to sand something like this when it needed to be so low. I wish that they would have had a choice of different sizes. It would have saved me a lot of time. The material looks like plastic, but it smelled more like bone when I was grinding it with the Dremel. I got it to finally fit fine. The new bridge makes a big difference. The bass strings are less harsh sounding than with the plastic bridge. The treble strings are about 30% louder now at low volume. This was a great upgrade for cheap. The guitar is not the same guitar.

The saddle and nut fit very well and installed and work beautifully. I had to sand these down on the bottom to lower the action of the strings. I expected there would be a need to do this and the pieces are solid and sand evenly. No problems, recommended for classical guitar with 2 inch wide neck.

The nut and string spacing was perfect, needed a little fine tuning on height. Saddle was perfect length, was enough material to adjust for the correct height!

I had bought this for too small of a guitar, which caused me to rate this lower to begin with. Later I got a full size classical guitar and still had these sitting around. I switched the saddle and nut when I changed it's strings and now the guitar sounds even better. I love the quality of these, they feel very strong and durable. I don't know if they are actual bone and I have no way of testing it but I know it looks and feels a little different than my plastic saddle and nut that came with the guitar. I didn't even have to sand these to the right height either.

The nut on my classical guitar broke, and although I have never done any kind of repair to a guitar before (other than changing strings) I was able to replace it on my own, using this set. Excellent price and seems like excellent quality to me.I only replaced the nut from this set, not the other part. It fit nicely and I just put it in place (no glue) and used the strings to hold it in place. I don't even know if this is the correct way to fasten it, but it works just fine for me. I only play a little bit at home, so if you're a professional or play a great deal, or have a very nice instrument, you may be more picky than me and may choose a different way to repair than I did or at least look more into it. I'm just telling you what I did, not what you should do. But I do like this set a lot, just what I needed for a price I was happy to pay.
