The camera quality is excellent, however, you are only able to record clips at a time and not continual video. Therefore during this pause and cool down time it is possible for someone to sneak past the camera and there is no recording. Fine UI included, product quality, but just a miss on actual video recording functionality.

I have 6 blink wireless outdoor cameras, a doorbell, and these. The wireless outdoor cameras have PIR sensors and an acceptable false alarm rate. Yes, they can false alarm in the rain or serious wind. These lack the PIR sensors and without the image processing, they have a very high false alarm rate. Even with the image processing, which you pay for monthly, they have a higher false alarm rate under many conditions that those with PIR sensor handle exceptionally well. That plus the need to be plugged in means I’m very restricted on where I can plug them in.Where they work, they work great. I have the need for 6 outdoor cameras but only one outdoor spot where I can use these. I have a few more spots I can use these indoors but basically I ignore all alerts that they generate and simply have them there to hopefully record invasions well after the invaders have left.
