I’ve bought this pocket lighter torch countless times (20-30 of them) over the last 6 years or so and although they’re great lighters when they are new, I have never had one last more than 2 or 3 months. The flame starts getting weaker after just a few refills and eventually dies out. Not worth the price.

I like having tools in my pockets and this is one tool I've had in my pocket for at least 25 years. Not the same one, sadly. You do need to replace or repair it every once in a while. They have a cheaper model they sell at Walmart with a child safety latch on it. The quality of that one is not even comparable to this. With minimal maintenance one of these lasts me 5 years at least. I carry it in my pocket and use it every day. It's perfect for starting fires, heating things up and doing shrink tube. It's even great for soldering large-gauge wires that the soldering iron doesn't get hot enough to do.

The best greatest & most reliable torch ever! I had my last one 3 years & now mom has it. Still works great! Always use only vector butane.

This lighter is an absolute joke! I wanted to love and use it so much. It never lights on the first go. Blows out with the slightest of winds. Even it it was $20 it wouldn't be worth it. Absolutely worthless, at this point its just garbage! Highly disappointed with something with such good reviews. Dont know what everyone else got but for me its worthless. Maybe I got a broken one but won't waste my money again on a blazer product.

I've owned one of these pretty much since they first came out back in the 90's. They're fabulous little torches for backpacking and small repairs. Over the years they've gotten better with their pizeoelectric starter making it more reliable than what it first was. I always go for the clear as I like to see the full amount of fuel available. Can confirm I've had friends "borrow" them and occasionally not bring back. Good all-round little unit for throwing some heat where needed.

I just got this lighter/mini torch and so far, it has worked perfectly. I really like the clear 'tank' so that you can easily see how much fuel remains. I had no problem filling it up right after opening the package. I is somewhat disappointing with the flame adjustment, but I have no doubt that it will light anything that I use it on. I like how it has a 'flame on' lock so that you can sit it on your work bench and have both hands free to heat or ??? whatever you are working on. And it beats the heck out of my Zippo when it comes to holding the lighter nearly upside down to light a camp fire. I have no problem recommending this PB 207 micro torch. Just a note: the PB 207CR is a 'Child Resistant' version of this lighter.

The Blazer Pocket Micro Torch is the best lighter made. Period. By any measure...ease to fill, gas capacity, lights on first strike, powerful and focused blue flame and reliability...I have one that I've lit no less than 150,000 times over a period of 5years! Whether for micro soldering or just as a pipe lighter, there is no better. Not the flattest lighter for carrying in your pocket but still fits reasonably comfortably into your jean's pocket.

The PB207 produces a strong thin hot jet flame, that stands up to a moderate breeze without getting blown out.As a cigar smoker, this lighter excels in several areas.- It lights consistently- It stays lit in a moderate breeze- you can latch the lighter ON, so that the flame burns continuously without having to hold the ignition button- it is relatively lightweight- the Cap prevents the lighter accidentally igniting in your pocket!- *** and the thing I most love is the ability to see how much gas you have remaining***(This is a personal bugbear of mine - so many metal lighters look great, feel good in your hand, but you cant tell if they are empty or full, until you light up your seconds cigar and find you are out of gas!)From a functionality perspective this little lighter is a real winner.I have removed 1 star for the following reasons...- Packaging: the current packaging is very poor, nothing more than a blister pack with a cardboard backing. a few years ago I bought the exact same make/model as a gift and it came in an attractive blue BLAZER box. (this is obviously no longer the case)- WARNING labels: there are very unattractive warning stickers stuck around the lighter barrel, which seem to warn you that lighters can be dangerous (maybe they burn things? go figure... )4/5 stars - a great product
