I use this product is an EDC lighter survival tool. I find it reliable bar fuel tank only have to buy one every couple of years. Totally worth the money paid for it.

The copy I received only works on the maximum flame setting, and barely at that. The flame is small and weak. Anything less than the maximum flame setting does not work at all.Based on all the research I've done, I would assume I got a lemon and would be willing to try a replacement, but amazon won't allow returns on this product. The same notice that tells me I cannot return it claims I can still apply for a replacement or refund––but then does not provide for any way to do so.I may change this rating if amazon allows me to apply for a replacement that works properly.

They seem to not be the great blazer of old... I got two and both have issues with butane volume control. You can’t turn them down too far which is a shame. I asked a guy at a cigar store about it. He felt it’s a decline on their low end models? Who knows, not worth sending back to fuss with. Just not the quality I’ve come to rely on from Blazer.

I've had several Torch Ligters in the past,,,and they have all performed great,,,they were quality made,,,and very dependable,,,I use mine mainly as my cigar liter,,,,,however the one I received from Amazon was not up to par,,,it doesn't stay lit,,,I lite it and it lites for 2 or 3 seconds, then it goes out,,,,not sure what is wrong with it,,,it has been like this since the first day I llit it. I would have returned it but thats a lot of hassle for me,,,I'm too busy to spend time trying to return a lighter.

I have used Blazer lighters and torches for many years. Why? Because they are simply the best out there in my eyes. I used to use the PB207CR Blazer but went to this Industrial Version to get away from the child resistant striker.I use it for lighting my cigars and since my kids are grown and gone I didn't see the need for it. Blazer is a quality made product and the company backs their products with a 1 year guarantee where they repair or fix it for free. If you have a need for a constant flame this lighter comes with a button the side you just slide to one side and it locks it on constant flame for hands free operation. It also comes with a rubber stand so you can stand it upright on a table or where ever. I took this information on the striker from Blazer's description- it houses apiezoelectric ignition system, which is based on a pressurized molecular reaction and requires no electrical connection. Piezoelectric energy occurs when the trigger is activated, releasing a small, spring-loaded internal hammer that strikes a crystal, producing a spark and resulting in gas flame ignition. And it lights every time with a maximum temp of 2500 degree.I highly recommend Blazer PB207 Black Pocket Torch Industrial Version if you are looking for a quality lighter or torch. Oh if the child resistant striker doesn't bother you then order the PB207CR you will save you about $10 and its the same lighter.

I've owned many Blazer in my day. These are old school and that's what I prefer. The safety feature on the new design is pointless. I remove them immediately. I was glad to see no trigger lock and the packaging is old school as well. Blazers are the micro torch masters. That's fact.
