These are a great alternative to the rackatiers jbox as they are similar in design but less expensive. The cover is not incorporated Into the design and is separate from the box itself other than that I'd say it's a good product.

This is a great set of junction boxes. Great instructions and easy to install. Cover clicks on easily. It’s a great alternative when you have to put in a junction.

First, these are well made and meet the code requirements locally. I have a small rental cottage in Florida that got flooded with salt water last year during the hurricane, and needed to replace the wall wiring 18" above the flood line downward. The saltwater gets into the wire jacket and causes corrosion long term. To do this, I needed junction boxes to enclose the connections, and thought I would try these. I found out the the cast in mounting holes would not work in my application, as the wall cavity in only 3.5" wide, and the box is larger. Since the cover mounts flush with the box, I was able to drill through the side of the box and mount the box sideways. After applying the wire staples to the wires coming in and out of the boxes, it produced a clean and unobtrusive fix easily covered by the drywall. It would be nice if the box was just a bit smaller to fit withing a 3.5" wall stud cavity, or if it already had dimples or marks made for mounting sideways, and this would make it more versatile.

When I get a package like this I'm just flat out impressed. This product has everything you need to get a splice job done. Here is what impresses me the most and some of this is not listed in the product page. It has INSTRUCTIONS! Sorry but not sorry, I LOVE IT when a company "bothers" to include instructions. Thank you! It also has "Test Reports" detailing the ratings etc. of the junction box. Just look how it comes packed too, to me that adds to the "impressive factor". Everything about it is great, its a quality, functional, attractive product. You get 2 in the package making this a good deal in my book. Nothing to not like here.

These are great junction boxes, easy to use and install and have six ways to enter wire into them. They are durable and secure and have plenty of room inside them for multiple wires and wire nuts. Great price and product. Recommend

These juction boxes are very easy to use.In my attic I used them to set up the new LED light wiring using the existing wire for a switched plug. It made it very easy to make the connections, then screw the box down any insert the wire.

2-Pack of Very High Quality Multi-Wire Junction Boxes ... Highest Rating: Flame Retardant. These Boxes are Very Sturdy / Thick Plastic. Very Well Made. Knock-Outs for Wires are easily removed. A strong Hinge with Clasp Lock is very handy. Can secure with included screw if necessary. Wall Anchors and screws included.I remodeled and re-WIRED 4 New LED 2' X 2' Drop Ceiling LIGHTING Panels in my Kitchen. This Box is a Definite 'MUST' to wire them correctly ... and securely. This box is mounted on the Ceiling above. Super Great Quality ... except for the included drywall anchors. Inserted them in proper holes...they just fell upward into the ceiling. NO rim to prevent them from sliding inward when inserting the screws, I have a bunch of quality anchors ... just used the ones I have. Not going to degrade the 'rating' of 5 ++++ just for a few cheap anchors. This is a Very Good Quality / Well Designed Multi-Wire Junction Box !

Another useful electrical box for your home wiring projects to extend wiring for a circuit. Never leave electrical connections open and exposed. They must always be placed in an enclosed box. This box is large enough for several additions and connections to multiple electrical cables. The lid fits tightly to keep out moisture and dust. Made of heavy plastic. Comes with screws for mounting. The lid stays on and would be useful in the basement or attic when adding additional wiring to your system. A good value and handy device for the DIY person.
