Instructions

Remove the BioSok from plastic
packaging.

Use the attached cord to tie the BioSok
securely to a fixture in the bilge of the boat.
Ensure that the BioSok can drop in the
water of the bilge tank where it will float.

Don't place in areas where the BioSok
could become caught in moving parts or
suction points

Once in water the BioSok will begin
absorbing oil, and native microbes will begin
biodegrading oil into carbon dioxide and
water.

BioSoks can biodegrade up to 25 times
their weight in oil/fuel.

Leave in place until all oil is biodegraded
away and the BioSok is empty.

BioSok lasts for months before needing to
be replaced. If early removal of product is
preferred, dispose of it in accordance with
federal, state, and local regulations.

Please store in temperatures of 95°F /
30°C or less for extended periods of time

Do not use this product with any other
bilge cleaners or detergents as they may
prevent the oil from being absorbed by the
BioSok.

I recently received my UniremTech BioSok. I have an older cabin cruiser that leaks oil into my bilge. I have tried a number of bilge products but have not been satisfied. My research indicated that the BioSok uses a different approach than other products on the market. I tied the BioSok to one of the supports in my bilge and within a day the sheen was gone from the bilge water. I am now anxious to see how long it lasts. I will update this review once I find out.

I have a wet bilge (1982 32GB Classic). Putting the sok in the sump keeps it oil free and, surprisingly, smelling a whole lot better. I highly recommend this product.
