This saw worked well to drill a hole through fiber board siding. The stem of the drill part is very wide and was a tight fit in my drill's chuck. The directions say to make sure the drill is tight. My drill has a chuck that doesn't use a key; it's hand- tightened. I actually couldn't tighten it by hand enough to keep the saw part from binding unil I used plier to tighten it in, but once I got the chuck really tight, this saw worked like a dream. The only issue I have is that it came with a small allen wrench and no instructions on what the wrench is used for

Threaded hole is not even close to being perpendicular to the saw. Unusable. Am returning it.

maybe 7.25" is simply too big for a hole saw. it cuts super slow and sticks alot, you have to be very careful while drilling. it did drill the holes i needed, i wonder if i should have used a different tool for such a large hole

Great for the price- remember to run backwards at the start and at the end of the cut so it doesn't dance, and doesn't accidentally cut anything above the wallboard. Left perfect cutouts. Not sure how it would do with many, but for small jobs, you cannot beat the price.

This saw is awesome. It is heavily made. Notice in the picture that it's holding up my Ridgid drill. Not some kind of stamped steel. I've been using it for canned lights in my workshop. Cutting through OSB and it is fast. This is 8 inches and when you want to make a hole it gets it. I've cut 8 and I'm getting ready to add 2 more.

I needed 4 5-1/2” holes for my new speakers on my pontoon boat. Problem was my current speaker holes were only 4-1/2”. I bought a 4 1/2” hole saw and this 5 1/2” hole saw and together, they worked perfectly to drill 4 new holes for speakers. Most likely the only time I’ll ever use it, but it performed flawlessly cutting into carpet and aluminum.
