Worked well for three days then the cable to actuate forward/reverse drive broke. It broke because it was routed incorrectly; cable made a 90 degree turn into housing but there wasn’t a protective sleeve or elbow. Cable rubbed until it frayed and broke.UPDATE: Dec 15, 2024Company replied to email requests for replacement Drive Cable. They wanted $35 for the cable!Returned to Amazon order details to look for website for replacement parts. Clicked on “Support Website” tab. This led to a flag manufacturer with no option for Bilt Hard equipment!

Shipped missing parts. Contacted Amazon and the manufacturer. After 3 weeks they agreed to ship the missing parts, said they would take 3 weeks to arrive from China. They never arrived. I fabricated one and purchased another to get it going. Wrecked it on the first snow falll by hitting a rock the plow threw in my driveway. Sheer pin did not break the whole shaft bent and pulled loose from the housing. Called Amazon customer service and was told there was nothing they could do. Basically, told me to bad. Never buy equipment from Amazon they do not stand behind what they sell.

That's sucks had to shovel wet heavy snow .Not going to buy this again. Never used. First time out, to find defective drive train. Never got to touch the snow .only 1 gear 6th. No 1 thru5 and no revers. Ugh.

Got everything put together and it only goes in reverse, regardless of the position the selector knob is in. The auger sounds like it has a bearing that's already gone out with a high pitched squealing noise. The engine started right up and runs great. Actually using the snow blower for it's intended purpose is impossible with the current condition out of the box. I'm working with customer support currently to get things corrected. Pretty disappointed that it came with issues brand new.Update: Customer service worked with me to get the issues resolved. Very helpful and friendly staff.

We got the product today and had it put together in 30 mins. The only issue is it was missing the bolts/nuts for the top cover with the gear shift. We are excited to finally have a two stage snow blower.
