Great design, accommodates different sized cups A-OK. I often use it to hold other things as well.

I bought this for my bicycle and it does not hold anything other than a half filled plastic water bottle. I tried having it hold an iced coffee and it kept tipping over- I had to bike with one hand to keep it from spilling. It's not worth it.

I researched and bought this water bottle holder to fit my bike. The holder does not come with a water bottle but fits any standard (17-19oz) water bottle. I had no trouble mounting the holder to my bike and there were multiple frame sections I could mount but chose the handlebar region for quick bottle recovery. The holder is very study and have been using for a year as of the writing of this review.

I purchased this holder to supplement the standard holder on my bike. I usually ride for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours & I needed more than 1 bottle of water. The pros: The price is good; fairly easy to install; fits standard and oversized water bottles; conveniently located on my handle bar. The cons: not very sturdy; a standard size metal bottle rattles around when you ride over the slightest bumps and makes that annoying rattling sound; I needed to put some non-slip tape on my handle bar since the rubber attachment does tend to slip when you have a full bottle and hit a bump; not sure how much holding power it will retain over time - I have only used it a few times and ....

I needed a new water bottle cage after my metal one broke. This one is a heavy duty plastic that expands to fit your bottle, as you can see in the photo. My bottle has a strange triangular shape that made it next to impossible to pull out from the old one. Not so with this cage from Delta. It comes out and goes back in very easily and it never feels like it’s too loose for the bottle to fall out. It’s easy to install because the bracket comes with a rubber piece that holds it steady on the handlebars and you need no special tool to tighten it; just use you fingers then give it a twist with a Phillips head screwdriver and you’re all set!

After researching what seemed like a dozen cup holders, I settled on these. The reviews are great for a reason. This cup holder really works. After going on my weekend bike ride, I stop at Starbucks and pick up my coffee to go. This cup holder not only holds a grande sized cup, but it keeps it well protected. After 8 miles and one big downhill slope, my coffee didn’t move. For reference, I attached my cup holder to a Specialized Roll bike and bought one for him for his Specialized bike. We’ve had no problems with these shifting. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.

This product is not solid and do not hold bottle. As soon as you hit a bump while biking you will loose your bottle. Not recommended. Made cheap. Not sturdy.

I've probably bought this 3 times for different bikes I've had over the years. This is a great drink holder for cruiser-style bikes where you're probably taking a "bevvie" or iced coffee down to the beach. It holds a skinny can, normal can, fat beer bottle, and more!I'm removing one star because over time, the little nubs that keep the can in place will fall out, so it would be nice if these were better secured but now that I've had a few, I've learned to add some glue to their holes to secure them in place longer. Also I wish it came in more colors!

Holds a bunch of different shapes of bottles, cans, coffee to go cups. Only thing I struggle with is tall boba drinks, and that’s mostly because the plastic in the cup is too thin to hold up to the cup holder grip. Not ideal for a tall metal thermos, but other than that, ur golden

Update 2016I was looking for bar mounted beverage holders again, and realized I should have updated this review after 100 miles. Well the bicycle was stole in 2014. Neither bike with these holders had a standard tube mount water cage. This bar mount beverage holder continued to function with the closed cup systems I used for both hot and cold drinks during commuting and for water bottle when exercising. The red dots I mentioned eventually disappeared, but this didn't reduce the functionality. The flexi plastic loosened a bit but was still functioning when last I used/saw the bikes.Original review 2012-I had looked on an off for quite a while to find a non-mug, cup holder for my bicycle for those hot afternoons when riding to the local coffee shop for a free frappacino just seems like a great idea. I decided to try the Delta Cycle Corp Bike Grande Beverage holder. @ $16 the price was OK, and I didn't really find any negative comments in the reviews. Although I usually get Vente, not Grande, I didn't really think the overall size was too different??? Although the cup holder is not removable which would be great, since I only use it occasionally, its functionality so far is better than expected. With a large 20 oz plastic cup I rode home on variable paved rodes with success (about a mile). I did take one sip before starting for home and another while riding after the first barrier maneuver and finally taking a very rough turn at 15 mph, slowing cause I became more aware of the jiggling bike, although there was no need. The cup didn't move a bit, nor did any of the juicy nourishment come out around the straw. The unflexed plastic when not in use is about 2.5'' in diameter. There are 2, 3/16" red anti friction type plastic dots that add to the stability. I have only used it twice so I can't give any long term statistics about the ability of the plastic to retain its "flex memory". So far though it feels like the cup is on the coffee table at home, even though I am sipping the refreshing icy while still riding, bending to reach the tall straw for a drink.Installation was easy as the clamp mount design is streamlined more than most and fit between the cyclometer and bell mounts. I remember reading reviews for other cup holders that slipped, so I was mindful to tighten with purpose, again without issue. I have the standard 1" bars so I used the included hybrid rubber spacer to take up the space. I guess there must be larger bars out there somewhere, but none of my bikes have that large a diameter. So I rated a 4 because it just seems so aerodynamically small, but I will be pleasantly surprised if/when the plastic has the same performance after 100 miles... we will see!
