There's nothing worse that doing a hard ride, hopping a speed bump or rough patch in the road and having a drink bottle fall out. These have a tight grip on insulated and uninsulated bottles. I do 100 mile rides/races, so I carry 4 bottles. So far, so good. These have a much better grip than some of the super lightweight carbon cages that let my bottles bounce out.

Everybody raves about this bottle cage online so I picked one up to give it a shot on my new Canyon Ultimate. It does exactly what it should - holds a bottle haha. It's easy to grab the bottle and slide it back in. If you go over a bunch of bumps or gravel, it holds everything in place. Aside from the functionality, it looks great. A lot of cages nowadays stick out too much aesthetically so I appreciate that this one is just plain black with no crazy carbon fibre designs or flashy logos. It looks great on a bike.

I am using a stainless steel insulated bottle. Hot country.Even though it's got the standard size of 74mm diameter, the fit is a little too loose.Loosely fit water bottle is potentially a water missile posing a great danger in busy traffic.Other cages including the newest model from Elite are too big for my liking.This specific model, even though it's an old model, fits my bottles secure and safe, stainless or plastic.I'm glad I found it.

Holds the water bottles snugly so they don't pop out over rough surfaces. I like the stealth look of them also.

Great looking bottle cage. Slightly too tight a fit for a Camelbak bottle. The hard plastic was a great choice too, since it doesn't rub against the bottles. Which would end up scraping the design of the bottle, as I've read in some reviews of metal cages. But again it's a little bit hard to get the bottle out while riding, more so putting it back in. Still great though.

Tight fit to get your bottles in, but they stay put. I've been running two of these on my mountain bike for a few months now with no issues. Definitely over priced for what it is, but the look and color and functionality is great so what else can you do.

These Elite bottle cages are with out a doubt the most popular bottle cages on the market and having purchased quite a few of them myself. I can see why they are so popular. They are very light weight, but also durable. They hold your water bottles tight enough where if you are riding over bumpy terrain the water bottle wont pop out of them, but they arent so tight that you cant easily grab a water bottle and put it bike while you are riding. These Elite cages also come in different styles and a multitude of different colors to match just about any bike. So they are great for those weight weenies out there that want something light but still looks great.
