INSTALL –Listing includes (1) BIG RED frame, (1) rod clip. Fishing rod NOT included. Frame collapses down for convenience of transporting and traveling between your fishing destinations. When ready to use, simply unfold the frame and secure the clip on the rod handle. Place rod with clip on the frame and you are set to go.

BIG RED Ice Fishing Tip Down-Tip Up is a taller version designed for both larger reels and heavier line as well as all smaller reels and lighter line. BIG RED fits most spinning reels and straight-line reels. The rod should be evenly balanced by using the flexible clip, helping it show the slightest movements.

Comes in two sizes to accomodate a wider variety of fishing rods.
Has teeth on the bottom to grip the ice.

The Original Blue is the smaller Tip Down model, designed to hold your fishing rod above the water and bob up and down once a fish starts biting. Because the rod is balancing, it becomes extremely sensitive to the slightest actions. The clip that it comes with attaches to the handle of your fishing rod and rests on top of the frame.

Caution; Plastic clip becomes brittle in cold temps. To prevent clip from breaking, position it on the rod per included instructions before going out into the cold weather.
