WoW! I had a sink hole cut that was covered up with a cap and this switch button fit the bill. The black matte color matches our kitchen hardware. It was easy to install and took about 20mins. The hardest part was tightening it under the sink. You'll need an extra long screwdriver to make the work easy. It works great so far.

I only downed this a star because the button metal was damaged. I used it anyway - just put the damage on the back side. Other than the switch goes under the sink area - this was easy to install as I already had a hole in the granite. works perfectly and really is a nice feature rather than having to reach across the kitchen.

Forget putting a cover over that extra hole on your faucet. Forget that installed soap container that is a big pain and not worth the inconvenience. Spend less than $40 and put this garbage disposal button in that spot! Works great! Easy to install! Handy location! Gain an extra kitchen plug instead of having that switch on your wall! Go ahead...get to it! (Will update for longevity and sturdiness if it has any problems. If you don't see an update, it's working great!)

I have used air pressure switches before for garbage disposals located in islands and this one is no different. It's easy to use and hope it lasts as long as the last one which was still operating perfectly after 15 years of use when we moved. This one didn't come with the extra tops of different colors that the older model did -- you have to order the exact one you need which makes sense and causes less waste unless one plans to change countertop or fixture color. I did panic at first when I couldn't get it to work. Electrician immediately put the onus on me as I had bought it for a plumber to install during house renovation and therefore I was held responsible for any problems. However, it was found that the plumber had simply not plugged it in. It is working fine and the finish goes well with other brushed nickle fixtures. Since professionally installed, I can't comment on ease of install but I heard no grumbling or complaining so assume it was SOP.
