Headline says it all. This thing is fun and functional. It definitely brightens my day. It’s a little extra flexible compared to a standard reflex hammer but that actually seems to be useful for getting a nice reflex.

Purchased one in 2013. Misplaced it last month, so just ordered my second one.This is a fantastic hammer to keep the kids busy, and warm them up to the idea of reflex hammers. I usually hand this to toddlers to play with, as I check their reflexes using a real Trommer hammer.It does seem to work nicely for neonates though.

Perfect reflex hammer for your Peds rotations. Calmed kids everyday for a month, easy to wash/clean between kids slobbering/ chewing on it while talking with mom. I used it more as a toy than as a hammer, but it does great for both uses. I took the pen/shirt clip off easily with a screwdriver and that made it even better as a toy.

All of my kids in clinic LOVE this dinosaur. It's a great way to get them to smile when I pull it out of my pocket to check their reflexes. They find it completely amusing and even the babies want to play with it!

This is a wonderful toy for use by anyone in Pediatrics. Being a resident, I have seldom actually used this guy to check for reflexes. All my babies want to eat him and all the older kids wouldn't give him back. (the one I have now is my third for this reason.)This hammer is easy to clean and has a holder that lets you put it in your pocket much like a pen.

decent enough. I don't really use it for reflexes, just something to give the kids to hold onto while I use a neuro reflex hammer. It's easily washable as it winds up being chewed on. I actually prefer the giraffe to this guy, he looks a bit weird with the huge eyes.

Anfangs war ich skeptisch, ob der Hammer im Alltag auch tauglich wäre oder ob er nur gut aussieht. Vom Eigengewicht ist er deutlich leichter als ein klassischer Trömner-Reflexhammer, dennoch liegt er gut in der Hand. Reflexe lassen sich damit selbst bei Erwachsenen auslösen, sodass er seinen Zweck erfüllt. Bei den Kleinen kommt er extrem gut an, er fällt ihnen immer sofort auf, wenn man ihn in der Kitteltasche trägt. Und ich selbst muss bei seinem Anblick auch immer lachen. :-)
