I ordered this as a connector between a MacBook Pro and a ViewSonic 32-inch 4K monitor. It works perfectly - the computer and monitor connected instantly, and all supported resolutions displayed correctly.

This cable works perfectly to connect my work laptop to my KVM switch. I have no issues with the display quality. The cabling is great quality and flexible.

Perfect for laptop to monitor. I have a Dell Precision 5690 which only comes in usb-c/thunderbolt. This worked directly with the usb-c port since it's multi functional. It allowed me to play my games on my 4k monitor at 60hz with no problems.

Mon ordinateur portable n'ayant pas de DisplayPort, mais bien une prise Thunderbolt 4 à la place, ce câble convient pour relier mon ordinateur portable sur un écran 144hz sur un port DP 1.4 afin de bénéficier de toute les technologies fournies par mon écran, notamment le HDR et la fréquence d'image plus élevée, le câble est suffisamment grand (près de 2m), ce qui convient pour mon installation.Je suis satisfait de sa qualité et de son utilité.

I don't use DisplayPort in general - my standard is HDMI. They're so comparable (in their current versions), it makes virtually no difference which one you'll use. But I needed a USB-C to DP cable for my workplace.There's a nice isolated room with screens available there - but they only have a DP port available. So this cable is perfect, otherwise I cannot connect my laptop to a large screen.The connection is called DP Alt. It's literally an alternative use of DisplayPort to connect to a different standard, such as USB-C.This cable supports Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, which is sort of the latest available standard, but it's of course backwards compatible to a regular USB-C data port.My laptop has a Thunderbolt 4 port, so I get the best possible connection. There's no configuration required, just plug both ends and I can use my laptop on a big screen. Amazing!The cable is well made - Benfei makes good quality cables and it's not the first one I have from them. Solid metal plugs, braided flexible cable, plug covers on both ends and a nice branded cable strap - everything you need. Also worth mentioning that this is a bi-directional cable, so you can feed video from DP to USB-C as well as the opposite way - not all cables are like this.It says this cable doesn't support portable screens - I think it may be due to the fact that they require power, which isn't supplied through DisplayPort. But if your portable screen has a separate charging port and a separate USB-C data port, I think it should work? I cannot test it - my portable screen only has a Micro-HDMI port, and none of my laptops have got a DP port either.This is a good cable that works well for me, and saves me the hassle of having to screen private meetings on my tiny laptop when I'm in the office. £15 is a decent price for the features and the quality. Este cable es robusto, bien construido y con muy buenas prestaciones. Se ha probado con un iPad Pro en un monitor 4K y la calidad de imagen es excelente. También funciona muy bien con un iPhone 15 Pro Max, ofreciendo una fluidez de imagen impecable. Perfecto si necesitas conectar dispositivos USB-C a un monitor DisplayPort. Sin duda, una opción recomendada para quienes buscan buen rendimiento y compatibilidad.

So I got this for review to test with Rokid Max Pro glasses coming out of my 7900 XTX video card in my PC and it does work, the video side anyway. I had to attach a device to add power ( they do state it won't carry power). I could not get audio to work at all without adding it to the PD device. This cable is of good quality, nicely braided, reasonable price point. It will work with portable monitor's as long as you add a power source. My portable has a separate slot for video and power, so wasn't an issue. Again though no audio, so take that into consideration, as it does state it will carry the audio. Maybe I am doing something wrong idk for sure. But 2 sources and neither had audio, even switching audio source in windows or trying as it did no show a new DP source for audio on either.

For all those digital enthusiasts that like trying the latest gadgets, this is one is a must have!the USB C to display port is a nice and cool idea. Some of probably have a laptop with USB C video output and, to use a monitor we need t docking station or USB to video converter to most likely HMDI. This cable avoids this problem and give you the direct output to Display Port.I have tested with a gamming laptop and a gaming monitor at 165 Hz and 2 K resolution and I get all the max features of it. With an HDMI, I can only get 144 Hz maximum refresh rate.The cable is sturdy and of excellent quality.The normal price of this item is ~ 13 euros but, sometimes it has a discount. Anyway, I definitely recommend this cable by BENFEI.

This is a nice, well made USB-C to DP cord and it is perfect for anyone with an extra Thunderbolt or USB-C with DP port who wants to add an external monitor. So many thin and light laptops are now only including USB-C or TB outputs so this is exactly what you need if you don't want the hassle or expense of a dock that can output proper video.I finally gave up trying to find an inexpensive small dock that actually outputs two full color 4K signals for extended monitors and now just use this cord and a small dock with a single video out (and some USB inputs).It works great and delivers a nice, full color 4K signal to my monitor. My only wish is that it was just a bit longer. I'm running it from one edge of my desk to the other and there's barely enough extra cable to tuck it behind the desktop. It's also bi-directional which might come in handy if you ever need to run a signal from a DP output to a USB-C monitor input. Definitely recommend.

The "BENFEI Bidirectional USB C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable 6FT" is a good USB-C to DP cable. It allows modern laptop computers with USB-C ports that support DP Alt Mode to connect to a DP port of a monitor. It claims to be a bidirectional cable but I am not sure the other direction can be used for.It works with my Dell XPS 13 (9305). With this cable connected to a 10Gbps USB-C or a 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4 port, it displayed a good 4K@60Hz picture. However, it did not go beyond 60Hz when connected to a Dell U3219Q monitor which is capable of DP 1.4 (up to 4K@120Hz).When connected with a DisplayPort cable extender or a DP coupler with another solid 8K DP cable, it showed a blinking and unstable picture. The same DP extender or the coupler with the same 8K DP cable did not affect a CableCreation 8K USB C to DisplayPort Adapter. The 4K picture was solid at 60Hz.

First impression: this is a very good USB C to Display port cable.I am using it to connect to one of the Thunderbolt USB C ports on my Mac Studio to add a second 4K monitor to my setup.The length (1.8 meters) is perfect, the cable is braided and the build quality is very good.Is there any advantage to using this cable vs a second HDMI connector? Short answer is "sort of". DisplayPort has several advantages over HDMI, particularly for high-resolution displays and gaming. DisplayPort cables can achieve a higher bandwidth, allowing them to transmit more signals at the same time. This is especially beneficial when connecting multiple monitors to a computer.Does it matter in my situation? Not really, but setups change all of the time and this offers flexibility.If you have a monitor with a Display Port connection, it's worth reading the specs and testing to compare.
