Ces câbles mini display port sont parfaits sur Macintosh (modèles antérieurs à 2012).

This is another excellent cable from Cable Matters. Well-built, braided outside. Works well at 4K

I had to connect a 2015 MacBook Pro to 4K Dell monitor. HDMI connection was very slow to come up, but both had miniDP connectors and with that cable startup is much faster

If you have a microsoft surface dock and have a Dell monitor with a mini-DP input, get this cable.I tried to use the mini-DP to DP cable that came with my Dell monitor and it would not work with the dock, even though the cable worked fine when I plugged it directly into my surface pro (5). Literally.... plug the mini-DP to DP cable into the surface Pro = Works. Unplug it and plug it into the surface dock = didn't work.I almost gave up and returned my surface dock until I saw this cable. Plugged it into the dock and it worked instantly. I am getting a second in case the first cable breaks. Without this cable my dock is a boat anchor.

I have a work laptop (windows 10) and my iMac 27” beside it. Naturally with the bigger screen I wanted to use the iMac as a screen for my laptop. Because both devices use the same connection, this worked perfectly and I can now switch between my iMac and laptop easily (command and F2) on iMac keyboard. This was a very inexpensive solution that works perfectly and I am thrilled it was so easy. Cable came quick and is if excellent quality. Be sure to check you model if iMac will support this as mine did.

Ok. I have a late 2009 27" iMac and a late 2012 21.5" iMac, both of which support Target Display Mode from another source. In this case, from the 2012 (which now runs Mojave) to the 27" (which doesn't, so stays on High Sierra). Since they sit next to each other, all I needed was a 3' cord. White is a good color for the rest of my setup (wood, silver/metal and white accents). As soon as it arrived the first thing I noticed was the really nice, professional packaging it came in. The cable itself feels like a quality construction and came with end caps. I plugged one end into the Thunderbolt port (which supports Mini DisplayPort cable) on the source Mac (21.5") and the other end into a Mini DisplayPort jack on the target Mac (27"). Bingo. The screen from the source immediately appeared on the target. Works as it should!Bonus: sound comes from the source Mac, too. Really happy with this product!

I used this for my mid 2010 mac pro. My 27" apple cinema display (2560x1440) stopped working . It had an awesome display but died after very little use ($1000 junk!). I borrowed a 34" Dell monitor (3440 x 1440) from a friend to see if the monitor would work. Well it didn't work with the included mini-port to displayport adapter cable. A mini-port to HDMI cable would show a picture, but it was too small and at a very bad resolution. So I bought this cable as a last ditch effort. Well it turns out that the monitor works perfectly well with this cable and my mac pro. Interesting that it works even though the new monitor it rated higher than my video card max.The Dell monitor has it's own mini-port input. I did't already have a mini-port cable since the apple display has one mini-port end and a custom fit end that goes into the monitor. So I had to buy a new one. Thx again apple.

working like it should. I hope it continues to work well. I own a mid 2012 MBP Retina i7, and a mid 2010 iMac 27" i5. I use this cable to be able to use the iMac as an external monitor.Works like a charm. I just plug it in, wait a sec, and it connects perfectly. I need to look into display settings. I am used to having the ability to have the screens side by side as individual screens and when I swipe between screens both would scroll at the same time, essentially giving me 8 desktops of workspace (with 4 tabs on MBP). Really made things faster swiping between desktop screens than clicking on tabs on top of the screen.I had considered getting the clamshell for the MBP, and may still, but until I decide whether or not to upgrade my monitors and or computer (iMac to 5k), I am holding off. Darn budgets. Am a photographer that uses these mainly for editing. Great products (apple) and this cable enables me to improve my workflow. Would recommend.

Below you'll find my original review which I gave two stars on. Cable Matters reached out and gave me a replacement cable which did in fact show that my original cable was simply defective. After trying the replacement cable out for a week, I haven't experienced the same issues I had been seeing. When comparing the cables, it is obvious that my original cable had a defective terminal on one side, it was strangely loose, which I believe likely means a wire may be frayed due to repeated flexing, and that led to my monitor being disconnected randomly. I think it is likely since the terminal connectors are slightly longer than most connectors, by 0.5-1mm, which allows pressure to be put onto the terminal and cause this issue. I've reinforced my new cable slightly with a small amount of glue to hold the terminal to the black housing which helps put more of the pressure on the entire cable instead of the terminal itself. I'm not sure how this will work out long term, but it'll likely work for for awhile. My original review:Usually Cable Matters is good quality, however this cable is not. It's terminals are poorly designed, creating a very loose connection which results in my monitor being disconnected frequently. And while it does support 4k resolutions, the lose connection causes a lot of odd results. I've had to disable DP 1.2 to prevent things from acting up too much, but I'm just going to replace this low end cable with something a bit better quality so I can use 4k without issues.
