A really good, solid cable. It's put together very well, and feels really durable. The price/performance ratio is good for the length of the cable. I tested with tb4 and 40gbps devices and saw excellent performance.

Super nice high quality cable. It's nice and thick with some solid braiding. I don't have any way to test the full capabilities, but have verified at least 10gb transfer speed and 100w charging with no issue.Seems like a very nice, fast high quality cable.

If you need a cable the you will connect and forget, then this will work. It works at the rated wattage and speed and carries the emarker chip. If you you need a portable cable then this cable is to stiff. It is hard to rollup and when bent it tends to hold its shape.

I use this cable for 4K and 10GPS. I got this cable because I wanted to have a Thunderbolt 5 ready to go, in case I may be able to use it in a situation. I do video editing and music production. The quality of this cable is very high-quality; it’s much thicker than most nylon USB cables, but it’s also not the kind of thick that prevents it from being difficult to move (too thick). I like that it comes with a cable organizer, has labels on each end (although kind of difficult to read.) They also add their brand name on each end (I think it’s good to know what brand of cable you’re using; so many cables by companies are made unlabeled.) I like that this cable can be used for data, video, and power! (Traits that all Thunderbolt 5 cables have.) I can’t wait for the Tb5 generation of peripherals to come out.Very nicely made, well-thought out, functionally working cable that I’m happy to use and recommend to others.

I used this cable for my cfexpress readers and I was able to max out the media transfer rates with no issues. the cable gave no issues with either thunderbolt or usb4 pc's.

The build on this cable is definitely high end. The braided cover does make it a bit stiff, but in my opinions, that just adds to the overall high build quality.Thunderbolt 5 ports (80Gb/s) are still relatively new in the market. I've used this cable on a MacBook Pro which has Thunderbolt 4 and I was able to get a solid 40Gb/s transfer speed. Now this is not a limitation on this cable, it's a limitation on my device. With other cables, I've struggled to get close to 40Gb/s but that was not the case here.Overall, this is a great cable, however, the price seems a little high for me; hence the loss of 1 star. That being said, I'm also a believer of, "you get what you pay for". If price is not a concern for you, definitely give this cable a try. As time progresses, newer devices will start offering Thunderbolt 5 ports and you'll be ready to go!

I recently started using the USB 4 Cable, and overall, it’s been a solid performer. I appreciate the power delivery, which keeps my devices charged quickly. The build quality feels durable, and the length is perfect for my setup. However, I did notice it can get slightly warm during extended use, which isn’t a dealbreaker but something to keep in mind. It’s USB-IF certified, so compatibility hasn’t been an issue. While it’s not perfect, it’s a reliable cable for high-performance needs.

This USB-C cable delivers some serious power and works exceptionally well - it was combined with a 100w power adapter and used to provide portable power to an entire Steam deck setup. Handling both graphical data and power supply with ease, this beefy cable is built to last and be an absolute workhorse. If your in need of a high quality, heavy duty USB-C cable, you found one!

The future is here, well at least its cables are. As far as I know, 80Gbps is quite a new standard and I am not sure if any body has the hardware to make full use of it at the moment, but it is still nice to have at least your cables ready for the new hardware.The main features of this cable is naturally the high specs, especially the 80Gbps data transfer rate, which is the highest possible for regular users at this point. The 240W power rating is also the highest too. Unfortunately I have not been able to test the performance in either avenues due to my slower hardware, but I believe Silkland is a brand you can trust, and its USB-IF certification is a good proof.The cable comes in a bag that bears the brand name, but the specs are indicated only on a sticker label (on the package). I appreciate that the brand and the specs are printed on the plugs on both ends of the cable, helping you tell this cable apart from others and know their capability. The cable was wound in a circular shape, forcing no sharp or permanent bends on the cable. It was held in the circular shape by two wires and a single velcro band. Both plugs had plastic protective covers. The outside was braided and looked durable. The cable was semi-rigid, so you can bend it to the shape you want, but it tends to keep its former shape and does not dangle freely. The plug heads are metal and the connections between the plug heads and the cables seem good.Overall, I like it. The materials look durable. It has worked well with my less-demanding equipment, and it is good to know that they have the high specs to be used in any higher performance equipment I will have in the future. Its length is enough for most use cases, and you would probably want to use a cable that is not too long for the special high data transfer rates. The price of $40 CAD (before a $6 coupon) at the time of writing might seem high, but it is understandable considering the high performance specs. I would definitely recommend it for use cases that require high specs, but if you are looking for a cable for more basic use cases, you can go for cable with lower specs and prices that match your needs.

Just got my new S25 Ultra and this cable turned out to not only be a life saver but a great time saver as well. For some reason the wireless transfer of all my old data from my S22 Ultra did not work. Some sort of glitch I don't know. Besides that the estimated time was going to be over 45 minutes. This cable came to the rescue. I was able to connect both phones directly. And instead of 45 minutes over the wireless it took under 10 minutes.This cable has a thick robust feeling to it. Definitely not your typical USB cable. The craftsmanship looks and feels superb. Highly recommend.

Gute USB-C Kabel für alle Anwendungen sind immer noch zu rar in meinem Haushalt und so habe ich das Testangebot für das 'Silkland USB 80Gbps Kabel für Thunderbolt 5' gerne angenommen. Das Kabel kommt in einer schlichten Tüte, die den Eindruck eine Papiertüte macht, innen aber 'metallisiert' ist.In der 2 Meter Version ist das Kabel ist von Stecker zu Stecker genau 203cm lang. Für ein 240 Watt Kabel ist es mit 5,3mm noch relativ dünn und auch sehr flexibel. Es hat ein feines Textilgeflecht als Ummantelung. Ich hab dann gleich die Datenübertragung getestet und das übliche Phänomen bei diesen USB4, bzw. Thunderbolt 5 Kabel festgestellt. Es funktionieren alle USB-Modi ganz tadellos und ich konnte von meiner schnellsten externen SSD über 2000MBit/s übertragen. Ein 'altes' Thunderbolt 3 RAID Gehäuse aber baut mit dem Kabel keine Verbindung mit meinem Mac auf. Dafür braucht es scheinbar immer noch die relativ teuren, speziellen TB3-Kabel.Die Power Delivery Funktion konnte ich bei 65W, 100W und 130W testen und alle Modi haben tadellos funktioniert. 240W Geräte sind noch rar, aber es ist natürlich gut, für die Zukunft gerüstet zu sein. Bei der PD-Funktion leistete sich das Kabel keine Schwächen und lieferte auch an eine eher 'dumme' 65W Powerbank die volle Ladeleistung, die gerne mal Schwierigkeiten macht, das Maximum 'anzufordern'. Da die 240 Watt auch nur mit max. 5A arbeiten (die Stecker vertragen nicht mehr), wird dafür die Spannung auf 48V erhöht. Der gleiche Strom fließt auch bei 100W und 20V. Die Stecker sind nicht vergoldet, was ich aber auch eher für einen Showeffekt halte, vor allem am äußeren Kragen des Steckers.Mein Fazit: das 'Silkland USB 80Gbps Kabel für Thunderbolt 5' ist ein supersolides USB-C Kabel für alle Eventualitäten. Eine TB3 Datenübertragung kann ich leider nicht bestätigen, das Kabel aber für alle restlichen Einsatzzwecke uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Der Preis von fast 40€ für 2 Meter ist natürlich happig, aber gute Kabel kosten einfach. Ich gebe dem Kabel gerne 5 Sterne und eine 100%ige Kaufempfehlung.

Hier ist wirklich alles Spitze: Verarbeitung, Leistung und natürlich auch der Preis (aktuell mit Coupon ca. 35€ auf 2 Meter). Wem das für ein USB-Kabel zunächst happig erscheint, sollte umdenken. Zwar wirbt der Hersteller hier "nur" mit dem neusten USB4 Version 2.0 Standard, doch tatsächlich verschwimmen inzwischen die Grenzen dessen, was ein USB-Kabel zu Leisten im Stande ist. Soweit ich die Spezifikation testen konnte, (über-)erfüllt das Kabel nämlich auch den deutlich anspruchsvolleren Thunderbolt 5 Standard. Und das soll zu dem Preis erst mal einer nachmachen. Warum dann nicht gleich mit dem schicken Thunderbolt Blitz-Symbol werben? Auf der Seite des Herstellers kann man eher versteckt Hinweise auf anlaufende Tests eines entsprechenden Produkts finden. Denn nach Vorgabe von Intel ist dazu eine unabhängige Prüfung in einem zertifizierten Labor notwendig, die hier vermutlich einfach nicht vorliegt. Doch wer der Qualitätskontrolle dieses Markenherstellers vertrauen kann, bekommt hier eine echte Allzweckwaffe geboten:- Konnektivität zu jedem Gerät mit USB-C oder Thunderbolt-Anschluss: Smartphone, Tablett oder Computer - bei mir passen alle wunderbar- Liefert eine Stromversorgung bis zu 240 Watt - extra Stromkabel wird selbst am Laptop überflüssig- Überträgt Daten mit über 300 GB pro Minute - externe Festplatten können praktisch wie interne verwendet werden- Entspricht einem DisplayPort 2.1 Tunnel - kann einen leistungsstarken oder mehrere gute Monitore auf einmal aussteuern- Trotz schützender Nylonummantelung flexibel und sehr geschmeidig zu führen - bei 2 Metern erreiche ich ohne Knickgefahr jeden Ort auf meinem SchreibtischWer all das in einem Kabel haben möchte, ist hier goldrichtig. Wobei zu beachten ist, dass sich die verschiedenen Funktionen die gesamte Bandbreite teilen und dann entsprechend langsamer agieren. Zudem müssen die verbundenen Geräte diese Leistung auch liefern können, zwar ist das Kabel abwärtskompatibel, am Ende überträgt es aber doch nur das, was reingeschickt wird. Wer einen Laptop mit einer Dockingstation verwendet, kann vermutlich allen anderen Kabeln Lebewohl sagen. Ein Komfort, der in Zukunft wohl Standard werden dürfte. Wenn es hingegen fest verbaut werden soll, tut es vermutlich auch ein spezialisiertes und dafür günstigeres Kabel. Ich nutze es an meinem Rechner als flexible Lade- und Datenverbindung zu meinen tragbaren Geräten und Festplatten - und erinnere mich an die Zeit, als ich die Datenübertragung noch in Stunden statt Minuten gemessen habe.
