Outstanding stool for my new workbench! Very comfortable and appears very well made. Adjustment levers well placed and really work. Only problem was it's set on a cement floor and the wheels made it a challenge to mount and dismount. Replaced wheels with legs for 13.99 and it's perfect!

I believe this chair was worth the money. I'm using it all the time now and enjoy the comfort and sturdiness. I would purchase this chair again

I received My chair in a timely manner via FedEx.Meat: I Am a Retired and Disabled Veteran with serious back issues, to the point that I require four (4) injections in My lower back, four times a year. These injections are performed by the VA; meaning, I'm lucky to get them three (3) times a year. With that being said, prior to purchasing this chair/stool, I was using a shop stool that I purchased from Northern Tools. Vinyl covering, NO padding (literally); it got to the point that the stool actually caused My back to hurt/ache after just sitting on it for 5 minutes. I took My last injections in December, 2020, and is NOT scheduled to receive the next series until June 2021. So currently, I am constantly in and out of pain; now is the perfect time to put this chair through the paces!Potatoes: I looked at similar chairs by different manufactures, and decided to go with Bench Pro (BP) because they offered Me what I was looking for, at an affordable price! I needed ergonomics to help keep Me in the proper seating position while seated. I needed durability because I wanted My investment to last. I needed a chair that was sturdy for stability, not excessively heavy and easy to move when needed. Lastly, I needed a chair with versatility so that I can make minor/major adjustments to My seating positions when needed, while remaining comfortable in the new position!Gravy: I'm literally BLOWN AWAY with the performance of and in this chair. To My eyes it appears simple in design and functions; to My body it IS a "blessing in disguise!". I did purchase some after market wheels from Amazon as well, increasing the mobility of the chair. This chair is located in My garage/Human cave, so I walk on concrete constantly. This chair has NO cushioning (sounds crazy), but the comfort comes from the polyurethane and ergonomic design of the chair. The hydraulic cylinder has just enough play in it to reduce all of SHOCK that accompanies firm chairs on concrete flooring, when seating Myself. Whenever I go to the lowest vertical seating position, I raise My chair up about an inch; if NOT, I feel shock to My back when I seat Myself. While seated, I feel as though I'm sitting on an air ride system of some sort (any seating position an inch up from the chair's lowest seating position). I can sit in this chair for an hour or longer before I have to stretch My back for a few minutes; then I go right back to My BP chair!Clear the table: Veteran or Civilian, if You have serious back issues like I do, then do Yourself a favor and get THIS version of the chair if You can afford it. If NOT, they make a cheaper version that I think will serve One well also. My 30 year old Daughter loves this Bench Pro chair just as much I do, and I'm sure she will spend some time in it as well.No buyer's remorse here!Update: Sunday, 4/11/2021 (2 weeks of ownership). Currently I am experiencing moderate back pain which seriously limits my mobility. It is during times like these, (back pain), that I would not even consider sitting on My old Norther Tools stool. I sat on My new Bench Pro and I had NO problems, NO impact shock from actually sitting down in the chair. My recliner is comfortable, no doubt, but I have trouble getting out of it/ takes a few seconds longer than usual. My BP chair is raised to bench height, and its a lot easier getting off/ out this chair. The foot rest has to be occasionally readjusted (to the desired height) and that's probably because it's tighten by hand. Now all that's left is the test of time. I am 5'7" and weigh 165lbs. I stand behind My initial 5 star rating!**The wheels that I purchased were made by Lifelong, of which I purchased on Amazon.

My husband loves the chair / it's in his woodshop / I don't know who packages the chair but they better send them to quality control school / there isn't anything in the box with the chair just all the pieces banging against each other / the paint was all scratched up / I know he might scratch it up over the years but it shouldn't look like that right out of the box / put some Styrofoam or some air pillows in the box for a $159 chair

I just received this workshop chair yesterday and am totally impressed. I don't normally write reviews, but felt this item needed one since no other reviews were written when I bought it. This is a total winner! It has a huge vertical range seat adjustment from a normal low chair to a high workbench chair. It also has seat tilt and lock and backrest tilt and lock which allows for unlimited seat positioning for your personal comfort. The footrest and backrest are totally vertically adjustable also. I am a big guy and the seat and backrest will accommodate a very large person and are contoured beautifully and are very comfortable. The seat and backrest are made with a firm, but cushioning molded material and will allow for a thorough cleaning if used in the dirtiest environments. My wife sat in it for about 30 minutes on the day it arrived and I am already ordering her one for herself. She loves it also! Would have thought this would have cost much more if I tried it in a store and did not see the price. Don't hesitate if you are looking for a workbench chair that has it all!

Not sure who designed the packaging but the plastic part that is used to tighten the tensioning bolt in the back was sheared in half on arrival. I was able to assemble with a socket wrench but disappointing none the less.
