I had been researching small waffle makers and this one seemed to be highly recommended. I now understand why. Sooo easy to use right out of the box. I did use a basting brush and put a little cooking oil on it first (not supposed to use cooking spray) I like my waffles fully cooked thru so i turned the dial all the way to the right. It took barely any time to heat up (nice to have the ready indicator light). The first try i didn't use too much batter but learned that you do need to use enough to cover the 4 areas or they come out uneven in shape/size. I never had any issues with them burning at all, even on the highest setting. I will say that if you are looking for a thin, crispy waffle, this machine is probably not for you. These are a thick, softer style. The nonstick worked really well. Had no trouble whatsoever, with removing them. I made 5 waffles in not much time at all. Cooks well and evenly. Finally, the size is perfect for storing away and cleanup is a breeze (basically just wipe down with a damp cloth) All in all i would HIGHLY recommend this waffle maker.

This waffle iron is easy to use. In a matter of minutes it makes perfect waffles every time! You can also control the lightness or darkness of the waffle, which is a great feature. The only thing that I disliked about this waffle iron is the fact that you can't use cooking spray to oil the waffle iron prior to each use. Note, the manufacturer recommends that you dab the waffle iron with cooking oil (this can be somewhat messy) only. However, the use of cooking oil to prep the waffle iron doesn't take away from how perfectly these belgian waffles turn out with every use. This waffle iron was purchased as a replacement for my old waffle iron. It was definitely the best purchase I have made and I highly recommend this waffle iron.

My house has a really small kitchen. This waffle maker has a very small footprint. It is easy to use. Be sure it locks closed when in use. I like the idea that it doesn't flip. Also, the ready light has to turn on before you fill it and then again, when the waffle is done. If you don't want for the iron to get hot enough, the waffle can be undercooked. I set it on the medium setting and the waffles come out a perfect golden brown. I put a bit of butter on it to keep the waffle from sticking. It wipes clean easily. I didn't want a mini waffle maker. So happy I found this one that has a tiny footprint but gives me a full sized waffle. I highly recommend it.

This product produces a legitimate Belgian waffle unlike some in this category that produce a thinner one. Reheat time seems reasonable, but of course plug it in before you prepare the mix so it's ready to go. Cleaning hasn't been an issue, just wipe it and you're done.The critical parts of making this work is twofold.1. Turn the temperature knob all the way to the maximum setting2. Pour after the ready light clicks on, and don't open the lid until it completely stops steaming (for a "well done" waffle, sooner for a medium one)It's hard to be critical at this price point but more wattage is always appreciated. This will make a well done waffle but it doesn't get hot enough to make one fully crispy outside without drying the insides a bit. Some kind of alarm would be great too, you just have to watch this one.

Great little lightweight waffle maker - fits lunch plates and truely non-stick surface. I had ordered another “fancy” brand - the exterior got hot and wouldn’t open, the non- stick was a mess. This is a functional and really nice product - even heat, a few minutes perfect waffles. Great price for the quality.
